The Four Shadows

Chapter 21

  "Oh my God" Helga said, setting her solid drink down.
"Miss H, what's going on?" A Hufflepuff student asked. She panicked and smiled, looking at the girl who seemed nervous.
"Nothing! We're taking care of it" Helga smiled. She turned around and her eyes widened at her friends.
"Where is it?" James asked quickly.
"Don't know. It's in the castle though" Godric said, attentive. "In the mean time..." he trailed off. "Incendio!" He said, causing a gargantuan ball of fire to erupt from his wand and stay mid air above the students. It warmed the Great Hall with its heat and the students cheered, but it was still chilly. The teachers set small, floating fires everywhere, ridding the Great Hall of frost and coldness.
The teachers were back up front as the music continued to play and the students continued to dance and have fun. All of the positive energy disintegrated in the snap of a finger.
The Great Hall doors had slammed open, with Salazar standing in the doorway with a guest. The music stopped and every head turned. As if time stopped, everything was still. The sound of a breath releasing into the chilly air was the only sound heard.
Helga's heart stopped beating and Rowena ceasing breathing. Godric and James' attention were sharp on Salazar and his one-eyed guest with a long purple coat.
"Sorry to interrupt the festivities" Marian boomed. She took a step forward, her shoe hitting on the floor echoing throughout the Great Hall. As she did that, students took a footstep backwards. "Although I do love a good party" she said.
Godric walked forward rather fast, but stopped just enough to be feet away from her.
"Get out" he said sharply to Salazar. The longer he looked at him, the more Godric took notice on how Salazar seemed uneasy and disappointed in himself.
"I said get the hell out" Godric breathed. Marian burst out in laughter in front of Godric.
"Sorry, love," she said, "it's quite humorous when you try to be all big and bad" Marian switched her tone to serious and dark. "Now move you oaf." She said. Godrics nostrils flared with fury and he clenched his fists so hard everyone thought he was going to bleed. In a swift, muggle movement, he punched Marian square in her face. Gasps came from everyone as Marian stumbled backwards and hunched over, a hand over her face. She scoffed and leaned upright and shook her hair out of her face.
"TRAITOR!" Godric howled. His breathing increased every second longer he stared at Salazar. It became dead silent, Godric's remark echoing.
"You ruin lives" Marian spat.
"Hows that?" Helga asked, stepping forward.
"Restricting children abilities? LOCKING them up in an old, repulsive castle to limit them. Its sickening and you need to be stopped. And frankly, I don't like that." Marian stated. Not a second later, the windows to the Great Hall had shattered, multiple demeanors swooping in menacingly as the rooms temperate had dropped so low, some students tried to escape, but Marian swung around so fast and shut the door quickly with her wand.
"NOBODY is leaving until these imbeciles turn themselves over and undo all the damage they've done" Marian spat.
"Damage?" Rowena asked. "What damage have we caused?" She said through chills. Marian rolled her eyes and threw a hex so fast at Rowena, Rowena didnt have time to comprehend what she had done. Rowena was thrown back, smashing into the concrete wall.
"No!" James yelled. He ran to her aid, but Marian threw another, blue colored spell at James, knocking him to unconsciousness. Marian turned to Salazar and bowed. "You have the Honors" She smirked.  Salazar looked at Marian and then to his friends who were frozen in fear and the fact the dementors had been circling the Great Hall. He raised his wand, and like a gun, he shot a ball of red into the ceiling, it colliding with the stone. The dementors received the signals and drifted over to the professors, the students gasping, and trying their hardest to escape. The dementors hovered over the professors, but they were terrified and stuck, and the demeanors began to suck away at their happiness as Marian laughed.
The young Isla who hadn't had a formal dress to wear, filled up with anxiety in the corner of the Great Hall. Her inside twisted and turned and hot tears blinded her.
"Stop!" she shrieked, from all the way in the back. Marian turned around and glowered with her one eye. She pointed her wand at Isla, but Salazar grabbed her hand. "Don't" He said.
Marian complied and breathed, turning back around. Isla became so furious she shook, and walked forward. With her brand new wand he aimed it at the back of Marians head and fired it.

The lifeless body of Marian fell to the floor harshly, and the dementors halted on the professors and their new target was Isla. Salazar only stood in fear, hence he witnessed Isla murder someone.
"Isla!" James groaned as he tried to hoist himself up.
Isla screamed and her eyes shone bright, the walls crawling with odd colored veins. She pointed her wand to the multiple dementors and a blast of wispy-blue exploded from her.
"Holy hell' Salazar stood in shock.
Islas patronus grew so large the dementors shrieked and imploded into nothing but grey and black dust. The room returned to its warmer state and Islas patronus soared in the Great Hall. The professors, whose sight was blurry, managed to get an image of her patronus. Isla turned to Salazar, who stared at her. "Your patronus" He breathed. "An Occamy? Thats impossible. Nobody- You can't-"
"Imperius" Godric muttered from afar. The small smoke trial crawled across the Great Hall to Isla. It reached her and a split second later, she collapsed on the floor, sleeping. Salazar didnt think twice and snatched Isla, lifting her up and running out of the Great Hall.
"No!" Helga screamed. She stumbled up, grabbing her dress, lifting it and sprinting after him.
"Salazar!" She screamed again. He ran without looking back, but Helga was  much faster than him. Their chase ended up in the front courtyard as Helga gained on him. She grabbed his sleeve, and he apparated at the same time.

They disappeared from Hogwarts.
