dakota's pov

"i didn't know you guys would be joining us" i said with a nervous chuckle

"did i forgot to tell you? sorry." nat said with a smirk saying 'i didn't tell you on purpose'.

everyone except nat and i continued their conversation, they were all sitting in a booth in this order: keith, bryshere, ash, woody, nat

"nat move over so i could sit down," i glanced at keith and he looked mad

"there's no space go sit next to keith," she wiggled her eyebrows when she said his name

i walked over to keith's side and sat down. a couple minutes later everyone had side conversations going on except me and keith, i was still glued to my phone when keith turned to me and asked

"who's mike?"

i looked at him, pretending i didn't know why he asked that

"and why would you need to know?" a small innocent smile played at my lips

"dakota stop playing games with me," keith said with an exasperated look "imma ask you again, who's mike?" his jaw clenched

"who were you talking to this morning?" i clapped back, this answer seemed to set him straight because he didn't ask me about mike again

5 minutes later we placed our orders and somehow started talking about embarrassing stories

"this one time we went to the beach and i told a joke and ash laughed so hard she shat herself"
everyone laughed as nat finished

ashley smacked her lips before saying "i'm telling you it wasn't your joke, it was dat sketchy ass pizza we ate from the restaurant"

"hmm ok" nat said with an unbelieving smile

woody told an embarrassing story and i couldn't help but notice how nat would look at him, i made a note to ask her about that when we got home. everyone laughed as woody finished talking

"dakotaaa" ash dragged my name out while looking at her phone

"ashleyyy" i mimicked her

"guess who's in town?"

"who?"

"dat bitch keke"

my eyes widened at her before bryshere said "who dat bitch is?" mocking her

everyone laughed as she lightly pushed his shoulder

"keke is from way back in the day. her and dakota was two timed by the same dude and she tried to make dakota's life a living hell."

"that bitch sound crazy." woody said

"that bitch is crazy." nat shook her head

before we could get into the details of that crazy bitch keke the food came and i started digging in

i was knee deep in my tacos when i saw a hand reach over and take one, i ceased my movement and looked at keith with pure rage
