Italy continued to talk to himself about making the best pasta, and Seborga started reading.

Seborga: Okay, let-a see this is-a Russia's. Russia would never think about hurting a child. He loves them too much to do so. If he feels he may pose a danger to the child, he stays away.

Some of the countries looked puzzled at the gigantic nation. Russia had on his an innocent smile, as if hat information was already known about him.

Russ: Children represent our future, da? I would never hurt a little sunflower.

Russia scanned over the crowd, many of them had looks of disbelief. Of course they don't believe me, Russia thought to himself.

Seborga: Well-a, then this is-a China's, Dear diary, I don't understand why people are scared of Russia, it makes me sad that people treat him like a monster. He wasn't always kind and yes he did harm many people, but which country didn't.

Russia's smile faded, and what replaced was genuine sadness. He knew exactly what the other countries thought about him, and no matter how much he tried to show people that he has changed, they didn't believe him. China grew furious, the anger obvious to everyone.

China: *Slaps hand on the table* DO YOU SEE NOW THAT HE ISN'T THE MONSTER YOU MAKE HIM OUT TO BE!?

Russ: Yao... it doesn't matter, it's not like they will believe it, da?

China: We all have parts of our history that we aren't proud of. France and England, you have Joan of Arch.

France looks at England, the memory making its way back to the both of them.

China: America and England, the revolutionary war.

America clenched his fist, England sunk deep into his chair.

China: Germany...

Russ: YAO THAT'S ENOUGH!

The room looks at Ivan and they saw tears falling from his eyes. He knew that China was trying to protect him, but pointing out their worst times wasn't the best way to do it.

Belarus: B-big brother, you are crying.

As Russia wiped his tears using his scarf, Ukraine and Belarus comforted him. Belarus didn't even bother to glare at everyone, China was already doing that.

China: He wouldn't hurt a kid, and he isn't a monster, aru.

China sat back down and collected himself, but it wasn't the same for Russia. He country that was smiling, the country that people thought was so strong, the person that broke a cursed chair, was crying his eyes out.

Ameri: Dude, we all have things we aren't proud of.

France: Oui, I zhink zhat we do owe you an apology also.

After the nations apologized, Russia looked at them, and smiled.

Russ: I accept the apology.

Ameri: dude, I am sorry for, um, everything.

Russ: I said I forgive you.

Seborga: Aww, that's-a so sweet-a. This is-a also Russia's. When communism fell, Russia didn't know what to do. When he sucked up all his pride, he went to America for help, he laughed.

America ran his hand threw his hair, distressed by the memory. When Russia went to him for help, America laughed at him. Hey used to be friends now they could barely be in the same room together.

Ameri: *sigh* How did we end up like this?

Russ: We are countries, bonds are made and broken throughout history, this was just another one of them.

Ameri: I remember when we used to be good friends, and now...

Russ: Maybe the ancients are trying to make us remember those times.

Ameri: They're doing a good job.

Russia gave a lit chuckle to the American's response, and looked America in the eyes.

Russ: Maybe they are trying to make those old times, come back, da?

America thought about that, if Russia and him became good friends again. He smiled at the thought. If everything went back to the way it was when they trusted each other, yeah that'd be nice.

Ameri: Maybe.

Silence flowed through the room, and a sense of sadness was overwhelming,  but there was also another feeling. Change. For better or worse, there was a feeling of change.

Russ: Now you know this about me, please, don't be scared.

A few of the nations nodded in agreement. Even though none of them stated it openly, they all agreed to treat Russia better. Maybe after all of this was done, the world truly was going to change.

China: Ivan, the times, they are changing.
