Beep beep beep. I leaned over and slapped my alarm clock so i could back to sleep.

"Nope. Don't think so sweetheart it's your first day of of school you have to ready" My auntie breezed through the door of my new room to open the curtain of my window. I snarled and rolled over to look at my clock.

"Gods sake auntie it's 6:30 in the morning" A low growl escaped from my throat before i could stop it.

"Don't you dare growl at me young lady. You need to be up and ready to go, and you take forever"  she looked at me and said " I'll warm up some blood for you. You need to eat before you go to school."

I mumbled my thanks as she walked out of my room. I've been drinking blood from thoughts disgusting blood bags. I haven't drank or killed a human in three months, witch is pretty good compared to before. I used to feed on live human every night but I never killed them, it would make me feel to bad. I looked  over at my clock and decided it was time to get ready.

"Are you out of bed yet Lynn?" Auntie Lorna yelled from down the stairs.

"Yeah, I'm just getting dressed now." I yelled back and rolled my eyes. Man, she is an ordering  woman. As I slide my favorite jeans that make my bum look amazing and a t-shirt that makes my breasts look bigger I started to smell the blood down stairs. My fangs slide out of my gums and my vision tinted red. Yup I was defiantly hungry. I finished doing my hair and make-up as my stomach started to yell at me.

“Okay, okay I hear you I’m going” I mumbled to my stomach. As I walked down the stairs the scent of blood hit me so hard I almost fell down the rest of the stairs. How long has it been since I last fed?

Vampires can go a while without feeding on blood but can’t survive without it. They can last about 1-2 weeks before going onto blood lust and on a killing rampage. I can last longer than the usual vampire because I’m half werewolf. I can last up to a month then my vision starts to tint red and  I start getting blood lust my auntie keeps a close eye on me though, she doesn’t want to take the chance of me killing half the town so she gives me blood once a week or more. We’ve been so busy moving that I haven’t eaten in two week; I’m starting to feel the effects.

“Oh my” Lorna gasped “you look beautifully scary”

I raised one eyebrow and gave her a “what did you just call me look?”

“I-I” she stammered but quickly recovered “you look beautiful but your fangs are out and your eyes are red”

“Sorry” I looked away ashamed by the way I act around blood.

“Its okay sweetheart, know you are hungry. You haven’t ate in a while”

She handed me a coffee mug filled with red crimson liquid. My mouth began to water.

“Thank you” I said as I reached for the cup of warm blood. It smelt rich and sweet. I brought the cup to my lips and tool a slow sip. The rich blood coated my throat as it slid slowly down to my stomach. I moaned at the sweet taste of the blood. I had my eyes closed but I could see my auntie shaking her head. I opened to see to exactly that but she had a smile o her face

“What?” I asked taking another sip of my drink.

“Nothing my dear” her smile grew. A half snort half laugh came out as I looked at my auntie Lorna.

“Lynn?”  Uh-oh. I don’t like that sound or the look in her eyes.

“Yes?”

“You have to promise me you’ll be safe” when I looked over my cup I could see tears brimming her eyes and the fear she fear.

“I promise I will, you don’t have to worry I can take care of myself.” I said with a smile hoping to cheer her up.

“I know” she whispered. As I took my last sip I got up to give her a hug in attempt to say I’ll be fine.

“Ready?” she asked with her smile back. Am I ready for this? Can I handle more stares and rude comments? I sure hope so. The fear in my stomach was becoming painful knots that twisted harder and harder the closer we got to the school.

“Auntie” I didn’t want her to hear the worry and fear that I felt. Not taking her eyes off her driving she replied

“Yes dear?”

“I don’t feel so good” the knots in my stomach became much worse when I saw my new school up ahead.

“You’ll be fine are just your nerves acting up” she replied coolly. I whimpered when she stopped the car at the front of the school.

“Oh come on, you’ll be fine just go to office and they’ll help you find your first class”

I went to protest but I got cut off “no butts Lynn! You’re doing this whether you like it or not” she leaned over and kissed my cheek “good luck Lynn”

I looked over to see her smiling. Just ten minutes ago she scared for me, why isn’t she now? I grabbed my school bag from the backseat and my aunties shooed me towards the school. I stood in front of the school for a minute and stared at the huge school. It had red brick walls and just behind it there is a thick patch of trees I'll keep that in mind. Okay Lynn you can do this just one foot in front of the other. Once I convinced myself I could do it I started towards the school.
