Blood Moon

Chapter 15

An annoying beeping sound woke me from my beautiful slumber.

"What the hell! Shut-up you stupid alarm clock!" I turned over onto my side to be met by a really warm and naked chest. OMG! I sat sat up so fast the blankest covering my naked chest slide down onto my lap  making me take a sharp intake of breath from the cool air of my room. The beeping of my alarm clock continued to piss me off and I lifted my fist smash it into tiny pieces but stopped when I saw the time.

The red numbers told me that it was 5:30 PM.

"CARTER GET UP RIGHT NOW!" I screamed into his ear while I jumped over him to silence the alarm but Carter decided it was a good idea to wake up just then with a startled jump and roll off the bed with me following close behind.

"OW! What the hell Lynn! Why are you screaming at me?" I would of laughed at his cute expression if it wasn't for the time.

"Carter you need to leave. Like now, my auntie is going to be home any minute now!" I shoved him to his feet and started to push him towards my door when I noticed that we were still naked. My cheeks flushed when I remembered what we did. I turned around to find the boxers that I lent them and found them hanging off my lamp which is all the way across my room. I snatched them from the lamp and threw them to Carter who had a very amused look on his face.

"Hmm. They landed pretty far from the bed." He pursed his lips with thought as he slipped the boxers on, I swerved on my heel and headed towards my closest and grabbed my bath robe off my door and slipped it over my naked body.

I walked towards Carter and pushed him in the direction of the front door "Go!". We managed to get to the front door without falling down the stairs which was surprising by how fast we were going. He opened the door and took a step out the door into the crisp air and looked over his shoulder to look at me,

"You'll text me right?" He pleaded with his cute puppy dog eyes.

Rolling my eyes I replied "Yes I will. Now get before my auntie see's you MY boxers!" He chuckled and ran off in the direction of his house. I slammed the door shut and ran upstairs back to my room. I grabbed my perfume and sprayed it all over my room trying to get rid of the smell of what had happened in here, after I was satisfied that you couldn't smell anything I grabbed a fresh pair of clothes and ran into the bathroom and locked the door. Turning on the shower I heard the front door open and to hear Lorna yell that she was home. Before she could catch me I hopped into the shower and grabbed the shampoo and lathered my hair full of yummy smelling bubbles.

"Lynn you in their?" Auntie Lorna's voice came threw the door.

"Yeah I'm almost done i'll be down in like 5 minutes" I yelled back.

Lorna mumbled something but I couldn'y quit catch it over the sound of the water. I let out a sigh of relief as I hear the faint sound of footsteps on the stairs. I finished up my shower and hopped into my pajamas and followed the sound of the T.V to find my auntie curled up on the couch with her newest book and her favorite blanket wrapped around her. She looked up when she saw me approaching her and gave me a small smile. I flopped down beside her feet with a heavy sigh.

"I got a call from the school today." her voice monotone. "Why is that?" My auntie never did like me skipping out to go for a run or to feed on something but she also knew that sometimes I had to get away. Most of the time she would let it slide but not today just because it was my second day at a new school and I NEVER did that.

"I got chased by a menitor on the way to school., lost a lot of blood and I didn't feel like learning things so I came home" my face blank.

"Oh... So who is the boy?"

My cheeks flushed red "What! ppfft what are you talking about.... Am I that readable?"

"No I noticed when I walked in and you are.... I don't know different." her eyes scanning over my body looking for anything different "come on tell me"

"His name is Carter and he is the Beta of the Blood Stine pack.... and he likes me and I like him but Nichole says that the alpha also like me but I think he is just trying to protect me! And-and I-........ umm it's. I really don't want to tell you." I stammered out.

Lorna's eyes widened when she realised what I said and when everything clicked into place. "NO! Lynn! You did not just do that in my house..... Did you? He didn't mark you right?" She asked all in a panic.

"Yes we did, Sorry, and no he didn't" I said looking down at my feet embarrassed.

"Good! And i'll forgive you but your washing your sheets I am not touching those!"

I gave a small laugh "Okay auntie. I hate to cut this short but I'm going to bed I'm really tied see you int he morning" I leaned over and gave her cheek a small kiss.

"Night dear."

I walked up to my bathroom and got my toothbrush and put the minty tooth past onto it and started to brush my teeth. I looked up into the mirror and I screamed drooping my toothbrush. My eyes met with beedy red ones I turned around to face them but nothing was there.

"What happened!" My auntie burst threw the door with a giant butchers knife in her hand. I raised an eye brow at her

"Really a knife? I think you would be better off with your magic." I took my gaze off her and turned back towards the mirror to see nothing their. "Must of been my imagination" I whispered. Lorna snorted and walked down the hall mumbling under her breath about me and my imagination. Sighing I picked my toothbrush back up and finished brushing my teeth. I took one more glance at the mirror and found nothing, shrugging it off I walked into my bedroom and snuggled into my bed and warm covers. My nose buried deep in the pillow, smiling to myself at the scent of Carter on my pillow and memories of what we had done in my room playing in my mind.

Sleep soon came but the red eyes danced in my memorie. Who or what did they belong to? And why do I have the creeping feeling that they are watching me?

******* YEAH! im getting to the good stuff now!!!    

Sorry that its so short but i wanted to get soooomething up for my lovleys to read! let me know what you guys think of this chapter. school has started and ill be even more busy and im sure you are already used to me not updating often but i promise i will try :S
