Chapter 6

Being a lone wolf and meeting the alpha of the pack makes you cower in fear but no way in hell was I going to let him see it. Camren walked with such pride in his step it would make any lone wolf cower. His strong body moved swiftly through the hallway avoiding people that were in his way some even moved to the lockers at the sight of him. He had short black hair that was spiked up at the front it gave his face sharp angles to his high cheek bones and straight nose. As he came closer I could see his eyes, they were a dark chocolate brown color, his menacing features gave off such a sweet scent of the ocean air it rolled of him like the waves of the ocean; soft and gental, he was quit attractive male that made my stomach to a little flip flop.

I looked over at the rest of the group to see their eyes down cast from the alpha. I leaned over to Nichole and asked

"Is he a mean alpha are something?" Nichole gave me a side long glance before she answered me quietly

"No he is amazing its just... Its a form of respect and we invited a lone wolf to our lunch table and no one told him and well..." she trailed of when he was standing in front of the table looking down on us. My throat closed at the sight of him; tall, muscular, handsome and well intimidating. Fear crept up my spin like icy claws prick at the bare skin of my back. When he stood in front of me my gaze traveled up the length of his body, he was breath taking up close, his scent tickled my nose and made my stomach dance. He towered over me making my knees shake his sky blue eyes staring back into my sliver eyes full of fear. His deep sexy voice reached my ears when he asked his pack mates

"Who's this mutt?" they all lifted their heads to look at there alpha, Nichole was the one to speak for them

"Oh... umm Camren this is Lynn Courtney." She said with a thin smile "She just moved from Calbis so i thought i would be nice and invite her to eat lunch... i just kinda forgot to tell you about it"

Before Camren could talk back to Nichole i stood up to make myself look stronger and less afraid, I had to lean on the table so i would topple over with the force of my legs shaking

"HEY! I'm no mutt! You have absolutely no right to call me that, you jerk!" Trying to look stronger when you are scared crap-less is harder than it looks. My heart was pounding so hard i thought i would jump right out of my chest, i knew it was a bad idea to stand up to an alpha male but no one had the right to call me a mutt. And i mean NO ONE! I could hear a soft whimper sound behind me.

"Don't challenge him Lynn" I could hear the worry in Carters voice, I could hear sounds of agreement coming from the other two, but I will not back down to someone who called me a mutt!

"You better listen to them Lynn, he is my beta" A challenge flashed behind his eyes such an alpha thing to do "I wouldn't want to hurt such a pretty face."He winked at me. HE BLOODY WINKED!! Red hot anger flashed through my body my hands were clenched so tight at my sides my knuckles were white. I took a step forward closer to him and bared my canines at him and snarled in warning, Iwould of blushed at his comment but the way his eyes flashed they were filled with cockiness I just wanted to slap that grin of his face. A low growl escaped my throat my eyes flashing a red tint, I flashed my canines once more trying to send the message that i was stronger than I looked. Camren just gave me a slow sexy grin that flashed sharpened canines of his own. My stomach twisted at his smile I should be mad but no I am getting butterfly's in my stomach instead.

"Oh, we got a feisty one" he leaned over to look at Carter with raised eyebrows. He walked past me and brushed his arm against mine, I couldn't help but feel his body heat and his muscles flex under his shirt. Cursing under my breath i turned away from the pack to hide the blush on my face.I shook out the feeling and turned around hoping Carter didn't see the affect his alpha caused in me. When my eyes found his i saw the jealousy and noticed he seen it. I couldn't stand it anymore. Heat rose in my cheeks once more when I spoke to the group

"I have to get ready for my next class, nice meeting you all and ill see you all tomorrow?" Not really caring for their answer I turned around sheepishly and walked in the direction of my locker.
