Chapter 7

I was almost at my locker when i hear footsteps jogging up behind me. I was hoping it Carter so i could tell him what I felt but when i turned around it was Nichole, a soft sigh escaped my lips.

"That was interesting" she said in a low voice

"I guess so" I couldn't really focus on Nichole because my mind kept going to back to Camren. I couldn't get the feel of his hot skin off my arm or his ocean sent out of my mind. God dammit I've never been so flustered before! What was happening to me? I glanced over at Nichole only to see her full lips curved into a smirk her blue eyes shinning in the light, she had that look like "I know something you don't"  look.

"What?" I snapped at her. I didn't mean to but i was so frustrated over a brush of an arm. Nichole not noticing my change in attitude went on talking.

"Did you see the way Carter looked at you when Camren was "flirting" with you". She air quoted the word flirting. I shook my head not trusting my voice.

"I think they like you" Nichole said smiling, my voice quavered when I spoke

"They?"

"Yeah! My big bro and alpha wolf" she said wiggling her eyebrows at me. A low groan escaped my throat, I cant believe this an alpha and beta crushing on the same person someone is bound to get hurt.

"Hey Nikki!" a male voice caught our attention, I turned to look at Nichole to see she was blushing like a mad man when an attractive male came up to stand in front of us.

"Oh... Hi Domink" Nichole said with a shy smile and looked towards the ground. I couldn't help but smile at the two wolfs, Nichole really liked this boy and he liked her. I smiled and gave him a nod of acknowledgement. He gave me a weak wave and mumbled a hi to me, he was to busy staring at Nichole to notice me. I got impatient with the kids making puppy love with their eyes so i cleared my throat to get there attention and it worked.

"what can we do for you?" I asked

"Oh yes right" he stammered, he was so cute with his short brown hair and green eyes that reminded me of emeralds. I gave him a quick body scan; he had a tall athletic build and a few inches taller than Nichole a smile spread across my face when I thought that the two would be such a cute pair together.

"I was wondering if you've see Carter?" Nichole gave him a flirty smile and answered him with a husky voice

"He's at the table with the rest of the pack". A slight blush painted Domink's cheeks a light pink, when he walked away he gave a slight nod in my direction and mumbled a thanks to Nichole and hopes to see her out on patrol. When Domink was out of hearing range she turned to me
