"So did you call everyone?" Capricorn asked, popping her head over the back of the sofa.
"Uhhh yeah..." Aries said reluctantly. Capricorn had woke up ealier and instantly screamed 'Birthday party!'. It was scary seeing her this childish.
"Who's birthday is it again?" Leo asked, walking in with party banners and confetti plastered to his hair.
"It's Scorpio's silly!" Capricorn giggled.
Leo and Aries exchanged glances. Every time someone's birthday came up, Capricorn acted a little bit crazy. Today was no exception.
"Hello?" Someone asked from the door, sounding rather lost.
"Hi Pisces! You're already here huh?" Capricorn got up and went to the door.
"Yeah I thought I might as well come earlier since it's so hard for me to keep secrets," he replied.
"The key's under the mat silly, you can open the door without us you know," Capricorn's muffled voice floated cheerfully down the hallway.
"She is so weird," Aries said observantly.
"So Scorpio knows he has to come today for a 'movie night' with all the signs right?" Leo asked.
"Oh. Thanks for reminding me," Aries wandered off, phone in hand.
Capricorn skipped back into the living room with Pisces following at a safe distance.
Leo sighed and hung his head. "This is gonna be a long day," he muttered.

By 11:00am, most of the signs had arrived and were helping to put up the last of the decorations.
When I say helping I mean fooling around.
Aries and Leo were playing a game of chase, trying to trip each other up with ribbons, Taurus was trying to steal a box of pizza while Aquarius restrained her. Capricorn was trying to boss Pisces and Gemini around but was giggling too much to say anything that made sense, and Pisces was trying to draw with confetti while Gemini took pictures of the chaos around her. Libra was trying to find the water guns, while Virgo and Sagitarrius were running off with them, knocking Cancer over in the process.
Suddenly, the doorbell rung, and the signs fell silent.
"Hey do you think it's Scorpio?" Libra asked while throttling Sagittarius.
"Who else could it be!? He is kinda early though..." Capricorn said thoughtfully.
Pisces looked through the nearest window, then shook his head.
"It's not Scorpio," he announced.
Aquarius opened the door to reveal a rather confused looking delivery guy.
"Oh the cake," she said, taking it from the delivery guy.
"Thanks for the cake!" Taurus said as Aquarius closed the door.
"We ordered it you know," Aquarius grumbled.

By the time the signs had stopped fooling around and actually got everything ready for the party, it was already 5:00pm, and the doorbell rung again.
"That's gotta be Scorpio," Gemini said.
Cancer opened the door to reveal a rather bored looking Scorpio.
"It took me ten minutes to get here, so it had better be a good movie," he warned.
"Heehee Scorpio, you're such a joker," Leo joked.
The moment Scorpio set foot in the house, Capricorn set off a party popper. Confetti rained down over Scorpio.
"Happy birthday!" Aries said, popping out from a box, wearing a lopsided bright red party hat.
"Huh, you guys actually remembered," Scorpio said, trying to look unimpressed, but failing because a grin was already spreading across his face.
"Hey it's fine to be happy you know," Capricorn said, tugging the corners of Scorpio's mouth into a large grin with her fingers.
"Ew keep your fingers away from his mouth, it's unhygenic," Libra complained.
Capricorn responded by turning Scorpio's grin into a sad face.
Libra rolled her eyes, and everyone started laughing.
