Broadway And Other Obsessions One Shots!

So I am a MASSIVE Monty Python fan and I heard about this play coming to Broadway called The Play That Goes Wrong. It was compared to my favorite shows Monty Python and Fawlty Towers, so I needed to look into it. I found an 12 minute clip of the play, and I was crying it was so funny. I looked into the cast and I saw that one of the cast members who helped write the show was really cute. Idk why I found him to be so adorable, you can be the judge of that, there's a picture above. But yeah, his real name is Henry Lewis, but the character's name is Robert Grove, and that character is funny because all of the characters just do everything wrong and make so many mistakes, so I thought I can make something out of that. Enjoy!

"I'm incredibly nervous (Y/N)."

"Don't be Rob! It's only our first date, and it's at the movies and then we'll get some ice cream. You'll be fine. I wouldn't be going with you if I didn't trust you."

"I know, I know, but I'm very clumsy, you know that."

"Yes, I know. Think about it this way. You're only with me, not with your friends. You are always very clumsy with them, but when you're not around them, you are fine."

"You think so?"

"Yes, I'm sure."

I gave him a very big hug and he hugged me back. We separated and he gave me a quick kiss on my cheek. I blushed a bit and held his hand.

"You ready to head out?"

"Yes, let's go."

I grabbed my bag and we walked out of his flat and walked to the cinema. We got tickets to see (favorite horror movie) in the theater with the reclining chairs and got a large popcorn to share along with (favorite fountain drink). As we walked into the theater, Robert tripped and fell, causing him to drop our drinks. I quickly helped him up and saw that his shirt was completely covered in his soda. I took a brand new clean shirt out of my bad and gave it to him. He smiled and quickly went to change. He came back and we sat down and watched the previews. As soon as the movie started, we reclined our chairs and watched the movie. I felt a scary part coming up, so I lifted the armrest and scooted over to him. He put his arm around me and I rested me head on his chest. Soon after, was a jump scare and Rob jumped and threw the popcorn bucket onto the people in front of us. I held back a laugh as Rob clinged onto me tightly. The couple in front of us looked back, but didn't seem to mind much. More food for them right? He was still holding onto me, so I held his hand and rubbed his arm. He calmed down a bit, but held my hand tightly and pulled me closer to him. I just smiled, and snuggled until his chest, feeling his warm embrace. We had a few more jump scares, but luckily nothing happened like the first jump scare. The movie ended and he was still a little shaky. I stood up and helped him up. I hugged him and rested my head in his chest, he rested his chin on my head. We walked out of the cinema, hand in hand and headed to the ice cream shop. He tripped a few times on the way there but I was able to keep him from falling, dispite him being twice my size 😂. We made it to the shop, but when he opened the door to the entrance, he hit someone on the inside and they fell down. Luckily they weren't unconscious. I chuckled a little bit and helped Robert help the person. We sat down and ordered our ice creams. I sat down and Rob tried to sit next to me, but missed his aim and fell to the floor instead of sitting. I laughed and helped him up. He became very flustered and sat down, with his head in his hands. I looked at him with sympathy and rubbed his back. He looked at me and sighed.

"Rob, it's ok. You're doing fine. We'll eat our ice cream and then walk back to your flat, ok?"

"Ok."

I kissed him on the cheek. He smiled a little bit, but it wasn't his normal cheerful smile, it was somewhat fake. I sighed but gave him a small hug. Our ice creams came, and we ate them pretty quickly. Once we were done, Rob went to the bathroom and I bought a ton of candy as a surprise for when we got back to his flat and payed for out desserts. He walked out of the bathroom and walked to me, he almost fell again but I caught him. He blushed again, but I took his hand and walked out of the shop. We walked to his flat and sat outside on his steps. He tripped again onto the stoop and heard some people pass by, laughing at him. He put his head in his hands again then pushed back his hair like he was stressed.

"You shouldn't be going out with me, I'm too clumsy for my own good. I really don't deserve you."

"What are you talking about? You were fine tonight. I had a great time and I'd love to go out with you again."

"But I was embarrassing-"

"No you weren't, you were perfectly fine."

"I don't know, I still feel like you deserve someone who can walk a few feet without tripping over their own feet."

"Listen to me, you are the most kind, funny, special person I know, and I really like you."

"You're just saying that to me me feel better about myself. Really, you deserve mu-"

I cut him off and pressed my lips onto his. He didn't kiss back right away, but eventually he did. His kiss was so soft, but had a lot of emotion. He put a hand up to my cheek amd movies a little closer to me. I smiled in the kiss. We both backed away, and he looked at me, smiling, yet confused. I  moved closer to him and placed my hand in his leg.

"I meant every word I said. I would have kissed you if I didnt mean any of it. You are really special to me, and I like you a lot. I was hoping to keep this relationship going, because I really enjoyed tonight, no matter how clumsy you thought you were."

"Really?"

"Really."

He smiled, with a really smile this time. He hugged me very tightly around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. He stood up and picked me up, setting me in my feet. I put both my hands on his cheeks and kissed him again, he put his hands around my waist. It was short, but still magical. We separated and he offered me his hand. I happily took it and walked into his flat, happy that I was finally with my clumsy love.
