(Your pov)

Bright rays from the glistening sun danced across the bedroom and onto your soft S/C skin. Your body had been tangled with Carl's from the night before.

Carl and you had been dating since the prison, so Rick didn't mind if you stayed the night every once and awhile but your father, Daryl thought otherwise. He would usually tend to do nearly anything to get his little girl away from 'that boy', but luckily he was on a run despite it being his day off.

You had sighed causally thinking back on it before opening your E/C slightly to the bright room. As your vision came into focus you were able to gaze upon Carl's sleeping form, something that was very rare to see. His overgrown brown locks covered his eye while his face was at peace. His long arms were snuggly around your waist while his lithe legs wrapped around your own.

This in it's own made you giggle as you began pushing his hair out of his face gently causing his nose to scrunch up ever so slightly. As you continued to play with his soft locks, he began to stir and automatically pulled you closer to him.

Now most of the time this would be amazing but while Carl had been bringing you closer, he had managed to rest his face on your chest. A deep crimson heated upon your cheeks as you attempted to move but failed. An unsuccessful groan escaped your lips which is what finally awoke Carl. It took him a couple of seconds to register what exactly was happening but once he had he immediately sat up stuttering while blushing deeply. This caused another fit of giggles from you but he seemed quite embarrassed.

"Morning Carl", you sang sweetly before yet again cuddling back up beside him which he gladly accepted. The two of you just laid there for a series of minutes, just enjoying each other's company and the fact that Rick had finally allowed everyone to take a day off and that day had just ended up being a Sunday, one of the most peaceful in your opinion.

While thinking upon these thoughts you had shut your eyes only to spring them open after Rick loudly yelled for the two of you and knocked on Carl's door. "Come down for breakfast, and make sure your dressed appropriately", his southern accent rung. Carl them puts his hands in his face while sitting up. "Dad", he whined which caused you to laugh. The two of you then stood up and stretched ever so slightly before grabbing some clothes.

You had been dressed in only one of Carl's flannel shirts and your underwear while Carl stood only in his boxers. A slight purr left Carl's mouth as he rested his head on your shoulder from behind. "You know, we could stay like this or you could take off my shirt", he said with a low raspy voice, due to the morning. This caused a smile from you along with a roll of your eyes.

"Sorry Grimes, you know what your dad said", you said cockily before grabbing the pair of jeans off of the floor from the previous night. "He did say that, but who's orders do you want to follow"? He asked before grabbing your shoulders and pushing you against the wall. He had unbuttoned the long flannel before roughly biting your neck while holding your arms up. You threw your legs up against his waist  while he held you all while he planted a rough kiss on your lips. Just as things were getting heated Rick walked in abruptly. "Did you two not hear m- oh", he said as the two of you immediately climbed off of each other while you hid behind Carl. "Be down in five minutes", he ordered with one hand to his forehead and a roll of his eyes. "Damn horny teenagers", he sighed while walking away which left you both with red cheeks .

The two of you then changed and made your way downstairs into the kitchen/ dining room. Michonne was already there playing with Judith, while Rick made breakfast.

As you walked into the room the scent of pancakes and bacon hit you. You could've sworn you drooled. Carl noticed this and playfully elbowed you before wrapping his hand around your small one and sitting down.

"Morning Michonne, hey there Judith", Carl said happily while taking his little sister into his arms. Judith began babbling happily which caused you to smile greatly. You then stood to help Rick set the table and breakfast was finally served. The four of you began laughing and talking, something you really couldn't do often. You scooped some eggs and bacon onto your plate and took the last pancake before eating like a savage. Well you and Carl both. "The two of you are acting as if your never fed", Michonne noted while laughing as Rick joined in.

After the heavy breakfast the two of you ingested, you decided the best choice would be to hang around the house for a bit and play with Judith while Rick and Michonne decided to meet with some named Deanna.

You had never really said it but you couldn't get over how adorable Rick and Michonne were. They completed each other. They were each other's soulmates. You then turned to Carl and smiled watching him play with his sister on the floor. As you had joined him you couldn't shake these thoughts out of your mind as you finally spoke up. "Hey  Carl", you questioned. "Can I- Can I ask you something. "Yeah of course Y/N", he insisted before putting his sister down. "Do you think that we'll survive"? "Do you think we'll stay together", you questioned while furrowing your brows. But Carl's reaction surprised you.

He let a tall smile tug at his lips before kissing your forehead and pulling your hands into his lap. "I know that this world has been terrible but there's always one thing that has kept me going, kept me fighting. You. We live for each other Y/N and I survive for you", he said ending it with a passionate kiss. It wasn't rushed or rough, it was beautiful. As you pulled back you let yourself smile fully. "Thank God for Sunday mornings", you said before continuing this lazy day with Carl.
