Long ago, before the war between Humanity, Celestials and Demonicy, there was a singular somewhat split between the Surface Area (now known as the Earth, before it got broken off and separated) and the Palace Area (now known as the Celestial World). The Queen who ruled from the Palace area, was known as Serieca (s-air-ee-sah) ruler of the Cassiopeia constellation. If you guys know the constellation myth well, you will know that Cassiopeia was a vain, selfish queen, who loved to be called beautiful and perfect. Serieca was no exception. As its ruler, she was even WORSE.

She married a once very powerful husband whom lavished her with praise in their early relationship...but then finally realized recently that she was an arrogant prick. His name was Viro, ruler of the goldfish constellation, Dorado, that was moved to the Southern Hemisphere of the constellations.

The way how the royal family worked was that it was through the females who took the throne. The royal family was very snobbish and usually took over their husbands for power and traits for their new heiress. It's the same every time, no male child, but always one, arrogant, selfish, narcissist, female child.

Now, it had so happened that Serieca was giving birth to her child, and as expected it was a girl. Viro had wished that it would be male, to end this selfish reign, but he supposed that was too hopeful. But...even though he wasn't at full power anymore, and mind you, a ruler of a set of stars that decided to arrange themselves as a goldfish, nonetheless, he was smart, clever, and had now decided to put that knowledge to good use.

Serieca: "DALENA! Why must you IGNORE your great mother so!?"

Dalena: "...I...I am sorry, mother..."

Viro: "Please, my wife, leave your daughter alone for she has done nothing insulting to you."

Serieca glared madly at her frightened daughter Dalena. Dalena was beautiful as her mother, but her appearance had some major downfalls. Her eyes were two different colors, the royal family's illustrious, luminescent, glistening sapphire color for her left eye...but a dark-looking, gradient, clouded red eye. Her hair was a problem too, it was all black with dark teal tipping the edges. Oh, the trouble Serieca went just to get her bangs to just cover up her red eye. Serieca took a deep breath and chided...

Serieca: "You are right, Viro...I must...remain...calm. A beautiful woman is always calm and composed. Am I not?"

Dalena: (Mother, you were just yelling at me earlier...!)

As much as Dalena wanted to say it, she did well to keep her mouth shut.

Viro: "Child, your mother shall be somewhat...forceful on you, but please do your best to not anger her. I will do what I can to support you."

Dalena always wanted to be with her father, and that is what it usually was out to be. Since her mother was always out in balls and fancy parties, getting men to admire her and lavish her with whatever she desired. Dalena could see that her father disliked it, so she did whatever she could to make him feel better.

Serieca glided away from them, getting ready for another formal ball. Once she was out of sight, Dalena burst into tears and ran to her fathers waiting arms.

Viro: "Be calm, child, you need to be strong for your path into becoming queen. Then you may cry, not for fear, but of joy."

Dalena: "...I...I'll try..."

Dalena smiles at her father's words, and Viro's heart swells. Unlike her mother, she was kind, caring, fun-loving, selfless and unbelievably loving. She was also graceful and smart. Viro had a feeling that whatever Serieca might do to make Dalena like her, it won't work.
