Chapter 13

Here we go!

Chapter 13:

I'd like to say that Beta Casper fainted or ran out of the room or even screamed at my confession , but all he did was grin again. He told me that he called it. He promised that he won't tell anyone and that I should clean up and go back outside to the party.

I went to my room and cleaned my makeup off and went out without putting anything on, outside people began shifting and some stayed human. I looked around for someone to ask when the pack lead tracker Sarah English walked to me.

"hello Luna, were going on a pack run in celebration. Please join us." She bowed slightly. A pack runs? I haven't been on one in ages, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't sound incredible.

"Yes please, can you cover me while I shift?"

I asked excitedly, she nodded smiling widely and led me to the tree line I quickly stripped and shifted into my third form. Every average wolf has at least 3 forms, the first is the normal human form with slightly better senses. The second is a human body with wolfish part like claws or fangs and sometimes enhanced senses. The third form as you might have guessed is a wolf.

Only powerful people can turn into the fourth form, most wolves live their whole life and they never shifted into this form. It's the strongest, you become even more enhanced than a normal wolf, some people can be as tall as tree and as wide as trucks, their powers are a hundred time stronger.

Kayla was naturally stronger and bigger than others. I looked down at the dress and glimpsed my paws, they changed from white to black I turned and saw that my tail has also changed to black. Can it be from Claire's powers?

I walked out, everyone immediately stopped and bowed to me as they created a path leading straight next to Alpha jerk. I knew it was him, he emitted a demand for respect, I walked to him and nodded slowly. He was stronger than me physically that I knew, but if I was to use my powers against him in a battle I would win instantly.

His eyes were yellow, his wolf was in control. Once I reached him he nuzzled his muzzle in my neck and growled possessively, I lifted my own muzzle to him and took his scent in. I never thought that your scent changes depending if you're in your wolf form. Kayla purred and snuggled down to sleep.

The sky was dark and the stars were shinning, and I was missing home. I looked around at all the wolves and prepared to run, I had a feeling Alpha would want to test me and I was up to it. With a starting howl we took off, I manged to keep up with him for most of the time until I slowed down to run along the pack.

Have you ever been in a car and put your head out of the window, the wind blowing through your hair and for a while you can pretend that you don't have a care in the world, now add to that feeling the feeling of your paws kicking away the dirt and you can almost imagen kicking all the hurt you behind you. The feeling of running is addicting.

We ran as a pack till sun rise. Having all these people who swore their loyalty to me, who for some reason I know would sacrifice themselves for me made me feel invincible. As we ran, they began dropping off at their home till in the end only me and Alpha were running towards the house. Beta Casper somehow beat us there and was waiting with clothes. He handed me a shirt and a pair of shorts and the same thing to alpha.

I put on my clothes and came out of the trees to find alpha walking into the house. I needed to talk to him about what I'm actually supposed to do. I went to run after him and beta Casper held me back, "Alpha needs to speak to you."

"good I need to talk to him as well." I hastily replied, I hurried in and went to his office. He was outside opening the door with a key, he let me in first and then let himself in.
