Chapter 34:
The day I was supposed to leave for the main pack, Marcus and I laid in bed in each other's arms enjoying the last few hours we have together before the chaos really starts. My face was in his neck and his arms were wrapped around me pulling me to him tightly and firmly.
Neither one of us wanted to get up or leave each other's comfort.
"Stay safe Victoria and stay out of trouble. Alex and his team will meet you at the air strip and from there immediately..."
I cut Marcus of; " ring the alarm bells from your office in the box under your table, then with Alex go to all safe cells and check on attendance, then lock it from the main safe cells and stay there till you come. Got it."
Marcus smiled and pulled me closer.
"I'm going to be fine babe. I'm Victoria freaking Allen. I survived the war I can survive pressing a button." I grinned and pulled myself up.
"Right, my amazing Luna. She survived having a mate." Marcus tried to pull me back and I let him.
"The war was harder than you, but then again I almost died in both."
"I died being with you, you kill me, every time you smile."
"Marcus!"
We laughed and for a second I let myself forget reality and imaged us having a lazy Sunday. It didn't last to long because we were interrupted by knocking on our door and Alpha Herz announcing that my plane was ready and awaiting my arrival.
With heavy heart and a lot of kisses Marcus escorted me to the plane and after a final kiss I was seating with Max on my way back to the main pack, I felt the separation before we even took off. A deep ache in my heart strong enough to make sure that I felt it but not strong enough to have me doubling in pain.
Max tried to get me to sleep but I was far to worried, half way through the flight I felt Marcus open his heart to me, I wouldn't be able to describe how I knew that he did, I just did, and I knew what he meant by that, it was his confession in his own way and his goodbye should he need to say it.
Marcus, ill see you later, so don't you dare die. Say it out loud out to me.
I felt his heart beat beating as one with my and slowly I drifted to sleep.
The moment I opened my eyes I knew I was dreaming. I was laying in a hospital exhausted, and in severe pain in my down region. I turned to my right and saw a young boy no older than eighteen hold my hand and to my left a young girl around fourteen years old.
I finally looked straight ahead and my legs were propped up in the birthing position.
"Luna, one last push come on." I don't know who said that but I pushed and, in a breath, crying filled the room just as the door burst open and the boy on my right fainted.
"V! are you ok? Did I miss it?" Marcus quickly replaced the boy after glancing at him shortly.
"Almost daddy, what is it doc?" the girl looked excitedly at the Dr... the Dr. smiled, "Congratulations on a beautiful girl."
Marcus eyes filled with tears and pulled me to him, "You did it baby, we have another beautiful girl."
"I have a sister! Yes! Cole wake up we have another sister." The girl jumped up and down excitedly.
The doctor came to me with my little girl and placed her on my chest. Cole pulled himself of the floor and looked down at eh angel in my arm.
"What are you going to call her mum?"
I looked down at her, and with a tiered smile I said, "Charlotte Rose Hathaway."
"Mum can I hold her please?" the girl grinned.
"Claire maybe later, let your mum rest for now."
Finally, my foggy stated clicked and I realised what I was dreaming about, my family with Marcus, a son named Cole a daughter named Claire and another called Charlotte. I didn't care that the doctor had began stitching me up till she exclaimed that she was done, and I was wheeled into another room.
Inside I was greeted with my dad, his hair white and his skin wrinkled, in his arms was a sleeping boy and next to him a little girl reading. They both jumped up and rushed to me.
"Thank you for taking care of them dad." Marcus wrapped his arm around dad's shoulder and pulled him to my bed. Dad's eyes filled with tears and he reached for the sleeping beauty in my arms. my baby.
Everyone, not including Marcus, went to the couch and gushed over Charlotte. Marcus bent down and kissed my forehead.
"Five amazing kids, I think we did good, don't you?" he looked up at our children with a wistful look, he had a small a smile, and the wrinkles on the corner of his eyes looked right.
Cole, Claire, Celeste ,Callum ,Charlotte. Our five C's.
"we did good." I replied and closed my eyes on the future I wish to be true.
When I opened my eyes again I was back on the plane, the dream fresh in my mind. I always knew what my childrens names would be, Claire being one of them always, Cole and callum joined the names after Marcus told me his story, as for charlotte it was claire's dream to name one of her children after mum as for celeste well that was a name I always liked.
Having children with Marcus, it was never a thought that occurred to me but I know now it is defiantly going to happen.
If we survive this. No! When we survive this, we lived through the freaking time war we can get through a family spite.
With that thought engraved into my mind, I cleared my thought of negativity and pulled out the paper I'll need when I land.
I began the moment we landed.
An extremely short chapter this time because the next chapter is when the action starts!!
Also the next chapter will be written alittle diffrently than normal..
