Chapter 14:

Thing were getting worse. Every day, every morning, every free time either one of us had would be spent in an argument, he didn't like the things I'm doing to the pack. I was helping the pack, they are happy about the improvements and he didn't enjoy the attention I was getting.

As a matter of fact, we are having a fight right now, and things aren't looking to good.

"She's stealing the children's money. The allowance you are giving them." I yelled back at him. After finally looking into the orphanages staff I found out that the children and teens were not getting their monthly allowance, the head of the orphanages was using it for her own gambling deeds and leaving the kids to fend for their own.

That's not all, every year, each resident would get a larger sum of money for clothes and school equipment but for some reason they haven't gotten the money in over three years. I would have dealt with this myself but Alpha Idiot is in charged with the packs finance and I was not 'permitted' to fire anyone with his permission.

"Then I would have heard about that!" he yelled back at me. His eyes were shifting between him and his wolf and for some reason I felt his wolf was trying to help me.

"No, they wouldn't! They are too scared of you." I tried to reason. His eyes became his only and he stalked closer to me, my back hit the wall of his office and I looked up at his extended fangs.

"I would know if my pack needs my help. I'm not dim witted!"

"I'm not saying your dim-witted. You're in the dark of what's going in your pack. Look at their clothes they are ripped and faded, any strong wind will ripe it!" I pushed him off me but he stayed rooted, he grabbed my arms and stuck them to the wall.

"I have ruled over this pack for over 10 years! I know everything happening in it!"

"Then you're the one at fault, if you know and didn't do anything about it. The children are suffering! They don't even have a decent jacket to keep themselves warm! How are you their alpha if you won't help them?!" I struggled in his grip and broke loose. I moved quickly to the middle of the room and turned my glare on him.

His hateful look would forever be imprinted in my head. How can someone hate another as much as he hates me at that very moment? All the respect I might have had for him was lost, I hated him, I really did!

"I AM THEIR ALPHA! WETHTER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT!" I was now very sure all the pack can hear us, but I wasn't about to back down.

"And they are making a fool of you. If they truly respected you then would they even think about stealing from you?! THINK ABOUT IT?!" I ranked my hand through my hair roughly trying to refrain from slapping him silly.

An alarm sounded so loud from the outside, he went to the window in a hurry and I followed, pack member ran into the house while some guards ushered them in and others ran to the west. Alpha Dimwit hurried to his desk and pulled out a folder that he then thrusted to my arms, he grabbed my arms and rushed me out of the office harshly.

"go to the cells. Time to prove yourself worthy of being a Luna." He ran off in a blink off an eye and I stood in front of his office confused.

The alarm was louder, I started running to the cells in the house and found Beta Casper helping an elderly woman down the stairs. I called his name but he didn't hear, everyone ran around but no one stopped to tell me what's going on. I went to a guard and took his arm to get his attention.
