Chapter 25:
I packed away the little I took out, and fixed my appearance with a small mirror. My hair was a huge mess, my hair tie snapped while I slept and now my hair resembled a lion's mane. I took out a pencil from my bag and slid it into my bun to hold it in place.
Alpha pulled the pencil out and my hair curtained my face. I raised my eyebrow at him and he shrugged handing the pencil back to me. I tied my hair again with it while alpha watched me curiously.
"Yes Alpha?" I asked him.
"It doesn't look good." he stated. I laughed slightly and replied, "it doesn't have to, as long as it keeps my hair away from my face."
I looked over to the window and to my surprise, crowds and crowds of people were stood outside cheering. I quickly undid my seatbelt and rushed to the window in the seat in front and looked out to all the people.
I couldn't hear them but I can see them cheering and waving the pack flag happily. I turned to Alpha to see him texting on his phone. Does he never leave his tech.
"Does everyone know I came back?" I asked him.
"Most likely."
"How?"
"Paparazzi at the funeral." I had to hold in a laugh at his reply. Imagen a huge muscly guy, who was glaring at a phone, saying the word paparazzi, it was a funny sight.
The plane door opened and Casper jumped from his seat ready to fight. He looked around confused till he saw me and he grinned sheepishly, he went and clear up his stuff. Alpha stood up put on his suit jacket and stepped out from his seat. I followed after him and Casper after me.
We walked towards the door and Alpha placed something in his ear, he turned to me and handed me two small ear plugs and put them in confused, I waited for an explanation but he didn't give any, I looked at Casper and he mimicked cheering. The crowd can't be that loud.
I understood the need of the plugs as soon as I was visible to the crowd. The cheers were loud and coming from everywhere, cameras flashed and for a second I thought this is what celebrities feel. I waved randomly at people but I didn't stop walking till we got to the building from last time.
The same guards greeted us and like magic their names came to me instantly. Amanda bowed to us and gave her very short report of nothing happened while you were gone. She turned to me and bowed again this time joined by all her colleagues.
"Welcome back Luna." They simultaneously said together. I bowed back to them thanking them.
After a cup of coffee while the car was prepared we set of again and time seemed to speed up as sooner than I thought we were arriving at the packs mainland and even sooner we stopped outside the pack house.
I expected the same crowd to be there but the only people outside were the leader of groups, that means Mary was standing there standing in front of everyone a wide smile on her face. I ran out to her the moment the car stopped, for an old woman she has an amazingly strong grip. She hugged me tightly and when she let go I quickly stopped her from bowing down to me, she hit my hand of her and bowed and she was quickly followed by everyone behind her.
They all submitted to me and my heart soared with happiness. Kayla howled powerfully in my head, and connected the mind link between all of us. With those links made everyone in the pack can connect to me. Mind links cannot be made unless trust is exchanged between to people.
I connected my link with Casper when I told him who I was, as for Alpha that is still something of the future if I find myself trusting him or he finds himself trusting me. Alpha came and stood by me, I was still stood shocked by their trust in me to move or say anything. All I could finally say was thank you. I bowed back to them.
