Abby's POV
I grumbled when I saw Naomi at the open curtains.
"You woke me up, you ass." I grumbled at her.
I heard chuckling next to me and I sprung up.
He was laughing at me.
"Austin? You're awake!" I hugged him and he hugged me tighter.
"I'm up." He said, smiling. He sat up but laid back down right away and chuckled again.
It was so cute.
"You're still a bit weak. It should wear off soon with your alpha healing." Naomi said.
He looked at her, confused as to who she is.
"Oh! Austin this is Naomi. Naomi, Austin!" I spoke.
"she's my sister," I whispered and they both laughed at me.
I just rolled my eyes at them.
"Sister?" Austin asked.
"It's a long story." Naomi and I looked at each other and giggled.
"I'll let you two be. But don't be too long. We have things to do. Stuff to plan." Naomi spoke before winking.
I giggled again and she left the room.
"I'll tell you about it later. I missed you," I blushed and looked away from him.
"I know you did," he spoke and I raised my eyebrows at his answer and he laughed at me.
"I missed you too," he responded.
I hugged him again before getting up.
"Come up, lazy bones. We have to go answer a bunch of questions and pretend like we don't know about the surprise birthday party the King and Queen are throwing. Also known and mom and dad." I spoke and he just stared at me.
"Your parents are the King and Queen?" He asked and I shook my head - yes.
"Wow. My princess is an actual princess." He laughed at himself.
I smiled.
Things will be better now. I know it.
