Sumedh's Pov
Next day,
Afternoon
I was sitting in the living room on the sofa and was watching TV. My legs were rested on the front table and was continuously changing channels. Suddenly, I looked at Aai when she entered in the room, while wiping her hands.

"Sumedh, tu baitha hai na. Ja jakar market se dhaniya le aa." Aai said.

"Aai, main US se yaha par market se dhaniya lene jaane ka lea nhi aaya hu." I said irritatedly.

"Thoda aage jakr MORE hai, waha se la de." Aai requested.

"Main kisi mall se bhi dhaniya laane ka lea nhi aaya hu," I replied irritatedly. "Bina dhaniye ka kuch bna do na. Main kha lungga. Khate time nakhre nhi karungga."

"Beta, tere liye Rajma bna rhi thi. Le aa na," She said sadly. "Theek hai, main hi chali jaati hu."

"Theek hai ! Jata hu." I said irritatedly, stood up from the sofa and picked up the wallet from the table.

"Ab ja hi rha hai. To thodi si mirchi, ek addrak aur kuch khire le aayiyo." She ordered.

I widened my eyes and said, "Teri list to badhti hi ja rhi hai. Main sirf dhaniya layungga aur kuch bhi nhi."

"Haan, aur Thode nimbu." She completed her list, after ignoring my line. I rolled my eyes, took bike keys and left from there.

I parked my bike in the parking area in front of the MORE and entered inside. I went straight to the vegetable department, picked up all items which Aai had mentioned, kept in the basket and was going to the billing counter.

"Bhaiya, Ek plate dahi chaat aur Ek chai. Aur aap shaam tak cake ready rakhna." I heard a familiar voice from the food counter.

I jerked my head and peeped from the corner of the vegetable counter. I noticed that a girl was eating papdi while sipping tea. Her face was not visible to me, because her long hair covered her face.

She was dressed up in formals. I didn't think twice before going towards her and stood in front of her with a wide smile. My guess was right, she was Ritika. She widened her eyes, when she noticed me.

She didn't believe in her eyes, I guessed because she stood numb. I narrowed my eyebrows and shook her through shoulders. She widened her mouth also, when she came back into senses.

"Bhaiya, aapnein chai mein kuch dhala hai kya ? Bharam ho rha hai mujhe." She said shockingly to the seller who ignored her insane joke.

"Hi !" I said with a blush.

"Itne saalo baad milkar, bas Hi." She yelled.

"Fine ! Hello Ritika. Kaisi ho tum ?" I laughed.

"Aap ko mazak sujh rha hai," She said while gnashing her teeth and slapped me on my arm. "Itna Mail kiya. Itna message kiya. But, ek bhi reply nhi. Kitna try kiya contact karne ka, but aap ko to jaise koi parwah hi nhi thi. Aap to meri shadi mein bhi nhi aaye the, balki aapnein promise kiya tha. Ab jao, mujhe aapse koi baat nhi karni."

I was blushing, when she was busy in scolding and said, "Baap re itna gussa. Kya ek chocolate ki bribe se iss beautiful ladki ki maafi kharidi ja sakti hai ?"

"Bilkul nhi. Pta hai 7 years ho gye. Aapnein ek baar contact bhi nhi kiya." She yelled angrily.

"Sorry ! Main bahut busy tha. Vo log bahut kaam karwate the, ek minute ka lea bhi rest nhi dete the." I said sweetly.
