Chapter 11 : 'Romio and Juliet'

Sumedh's pov

Ritika looked at Rohit and asked "Kaun hai vo ?"

"Sumedh ki Ex- Girlfriend." Rohit said while concentrating at food.

I looked at Ritika and noticed that she widened her eyes and was looking at me shockingly. As if, I was a murderer.

"Aapnein chora tha unhe ? Kya huwa tha ? Aap dono alag kyu huwe ? Batayiye na, Sumedh Sir." Ritika asked curiously while putting down her spoon.

Rohit and I looked at her instantly and with shocking expressions. Rohit looked at me and gave a weird look. I narrowed my eyes and angrily looked at Ritika.

"Inmein se ek ka bhi answer janne ki, tumhe koi zarurat nhi hai." I said rudely.

"Main to bas -" She tried to say.

But, before she could complete her sentence. I angrily showed my hand to her to stop. She didn't say anything and lowered her lashes.

We stopped talking, concentrated on the food and continued eating food, silently. After 5 mins, Warden entered with some papers.

"Doctor nein rohit ko discharge kar diya hai, ye aaj hi hostel wapas ja sakta hai. Tum teeno lunch kar lo, main tab tak college se cab mangwata hu." Warden said with a smile and then left from there.

We silently finished our lunch. Then, I stood up and started packing stuffs. Ritika stood up and kept the plate aside. Rohit got down from the bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I looked at Ritika and noticed that she seemed angry. But, I ignored her.

"Mujhe gussa hona chahiye, aur gussa khud dikha rhi hai. Meri life, Meri Ex, Meri marzi." I whispered angrily while packing stuffs.

I closed the chain of the bag and turned back. I got scared for a second, because Ritika was standing behind me. She gave an angry look to me and took the bag from my hand, and walked out from the room.

"Idiot." I whispered irritatedly.

I noticed that Rohit came out from the bathroom. I ran towards him and helped him to walk properly. We went out from the hospital and noticed that the cab was waiting for us.

Warden was already sitting on the front seat beside the driver. Ritika was sitting on the right side of the back seat. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. I helped Rohit to sit, then I sat on the left side of the back seat and Rohit was sitting between me and Ritika.

Driver started driving. I was looking outside from the window. There was complete silence for 10 mins. But, then warden broke the silence.

"Kya baat hai bacho, koi maar gya hai kya ?" Warden asked in cheerful voice.
