Chapter 24 : 'Aaj se, tu mera bhai nhi'

Sumedh's Pov

"Baas Sumedh… bahut ho gya, tu aaise kaise ek ladki se baat kar sakta hai." Rohit yelled from my back.

I turned back and looked at Rohit who was red in rage. He angrily walked towards me and grabbed my collar. I shockingly held his arms with wide eyes.

"Rohit, meri baat to sun." I tried to say.

"Baas sumedh, kab badlega tu ? Itni baar samjhaya… ki Priyanshi ka gussa kisi aur ladki par mat nikala kar, jispar gussa karna chahiye use to tu kiss kar rha hai, aur dusro par chilla rha hai. Agar Priyanshi nein tere saath galat kiya ,to kya duniya ki har ladki galat ho gyi ?" He yelled angrily.

"Rohit, chor do… meri baat to suno tum." Ritika said in low voice while holding his hands.

"Saari ladkiya ek jaisi hi hoti hai. Tu bta na, tujhe Ritika nein nhi bataya Priyanshi ke baremain ?" I asked angrily after releasing myself from his grip.

"Sumedh sir, Aap to meri baat suno, shant ho jayo dono." Ritika tried to say in soft voice.

"Tujhe pta hai, teri problem kya hai ? Yhi ki tujhe lagta hai ki, tujhe sab pta hai. Pehle Priyanshi tere life mein aayi, mana kiya tha maine tujhe. But ,nahi Sumedh ko to sab pta hai. Jab dubara aayi, tab bhi mna kiya tha. Par nhi, teri Priyanshi to bhagwaan hai na tere liye. Duniya ki saari ladkiya galat ho sakti hai, par vo nhi." Rohit yelled in dramatic tone.

"Rohit, shant ho jao. Please baith jao. Ek baar koi meri baat bhi to suno." Ritika begged in low voice.

"Haan to nhi bhula jata na. Kaise bhool sakta hu ? Pyaar karta tha main usse, true feelings thi uske liye, flirt nhi karta tha. Main teri tarha nhi hu, jo har kisi ke saath flirt karu." Words slipped from my mouth.

There was a complete silence after the statement. I widened my eyes after few seconds when I realized my mistake. I looked down and again looked at Rohit and softened my eyes.

"Rohit, mera…  vo matlab nhi… tha." I said in trembling and low voice.

"To ja… Apne liye, apne type ka hi koi dost dhund le," Rohit said in slow and calm voice,"Jo teri tarha hi idiot ho, jo Priyanshi jaisi ladki ka lea apne hi dost ki bezatti kar de."

"Rohit, bhai… Sorry." I said in low voice.

"Sumedh, aap to writer ho na. Aap ko to words ka power pta hi hoga. And, ye bhi pta hoga ki words once spoken can't be taken back," He said with a fake laugh.

I opened my mouth to say something. But, before I could say anything. He yelled angrily, "Aaj se, tu mera bhai nhi hai. Dosti… todta hu main."

"Baas…" Ritika yelled,"bas, tab se dono ki bakwaas sun rhi hu. Ab chup chap baitho dono, aur meri baat suno."

"Mujhe kuch nhi sunna, main ja rha hu yaha se." Rohit said angrily, but in hurtful tone.

"Bola na baitho. Baitho waha par." Ritika yelled while pointing towards the chair, "Sir aap bhi baithiye… please baithiye."

Rohit and I looked at her and then, looked at each other before sitting on the chair. He gave me an angry look but, I could clearly see the hurtful feelings in his eyes.

"Sumedh sir, Rohit ko kiss ke baremain… Priyanshi di nein btaya tha. Unhone ek video bnayi thi, aur vo video unhone Rohit ko dikhayi thi. Rohit nein video dekhne ke baad phone tod diya tha, tab main waha aayi thi. So, basically maine kuch nhi btaya." She said while looking at me.

"Ab Rohit, vo Priyanshi di ka plan tha. Unhone Sumedh sir ko forcefully kiss karke dhoke se video bnaya thi, taki vo tum dono ki friendship break karwa ske and Sumedh sir ko baad mein blackmail kar ske, you know in fake case and all." She said while looking at Rohit.

"Ab aap dono ye soch rhe hoge ki, mujhe ye sab kaise pta. Well, jab vo apna plan apni friend ko bta rhi thi… tab main unke aas paas hi thi, but unko pta nhi tha. Aur mujhe ye sab kaal raat ko hi pta chala, So Sumedh sir… aap ye mat sochna ki main bhi unke saath thi plan mein." She said in very calm voice.

"And, Rohit… jo vo chati thi, vo kyu kar rhe ho tum ? Unke chakaar mein apni friendship kyu tod rhe ho ?" She angrily said to Rohit.

"Tumnein suna na usnein abhi kya bola. Iske nazar mein meri koi izzat hi nhi hai. According to him, main ek flirt karne wala awara ladka hu." Rohit yelled at her.

"Maine aaisa kab bola ?" I asked angrily while standing up from the chair.

"Matlab to wahi tha na tera… chahe bolne ka tareeka kuch bhi ho." He yelled while standing up from the chair.

"Chup… " Ritika yelled again, "Baith jao dono, meri baat abhi khatam nhi huyi hai."

We gave an angry look to each other and again sat on the chair. That time, I also got angry. I crossed my arms, kept one foot on another foot and looked down. 

"Tum dono, Us ladki ki wajha se ladh rhe ho… jo tum dono ko actually mein ladana chati thi. And, Jise Aaj subha hi college se nikal diya hai." Ritika said with a small smile.

Instantly, I turned my head and looked at her. I was happy as well as sad but, I didn't have any reason for both. I turned my gaze towards Rohit and found him smirking.

"So sad ! Sumedh tujhe bahut dukh ho rha hoga na ? Rona chata hai, kandha chahiye rone ka lea ? Trust me, I am feeling so bad ! Teri ex, teri friendship turwa kar bhaag gyi." Rohit said in fake-sad tone and then, he started laughing.

My anger increased, when I heard him laughing on my pain. I angrily stood up from the chair, took the water bottle from the table and poured water on his head.

"Shant ho ja. Gussa kam kar." I said angrily.

"Ek to galati karta hai, aur uper se mujhe hi gussa dikhata hai." He angrily yelled and punched me.

I fell on the ground and looked at him with narrow eyes. Before, I could stand up, he came and punched me again on the face. I furiously rubbed my nose when, I realized that it started bleeding.

I stood up and pushed him hardly. I tightly grabbed his neck from behind when he fell on the ground. Immediately, I left him after few seconds, when he started screaming while holding his stomach.

I stood up and removed the dust from my clothes. I looked at Rohit who was pushing back his wet hair and said, "Sorry"

Instantly, he looked at me and said in emotional tone, "Kamine, dubara kabhi us Priyanshi ke liye roya na, to pehle tujhe goli marungga…  phir use."

"Theek hai, gun main hi load kar dungga." I said with a smile and gave him a gaint bear-hug.
