Chapter 10 : 'Biwi Wapas Aa Gyi'

Sumedh's pov

Warden cut the call, looked at me and seriously said, "Hospital se call aaya tha, hume abhi hospital jaana hoga."

I got scared and scarily looked at him. I turned my head and looked at Ritika, who also seemed upset. Warden stood up from the chair and we left for the hospital.

Soon, we reached at the hospital. I ran toward Rohit's I.C.U room. I couldn't see clearly as tears made my vision blur, opened the door of I.C.U room and stopped at the entrance.

Warden and Ritika also stopped behind me. My mouth was wide open and tears started coming out from my eyes. I slowly turned my head at my back and looked at the warden.

He came forward and consoled me while placing his hand around my shoulder, when I started crying like a girl.

"Sir, aapnein aaise ku bola tha. Main kitna daar gya tha, mujhe lga tha ki Rohit ko kuch ho gya." I said while wiping my tears.

"Agar, pehle hi bta deta to jo ye tumhara pyaar hai jo ansu bankar tapak rhe hai, vo dekhne ko kaise milta ?" Warden asked in teasing tone with a smirk while walking toward Rohit's bed.

I and Ritika looked at each other and then walked toward Rohit's bed. I was still crying, when warden and Rohit looked at me, and chuckled.

"Sumedh, bas bas tum to aaise ro rhe ho jaise biwi wapas aa gyi." Warden commented in sarcastic tone.

"Nhi sir, Biwi ke aane pr khushi ke ansu thodi nikalte hai." Rohit replied in sarcastic tone.

Rohit and Warden started laughing. Ritika widened her eyes and looked at me nervously.

I bent down towards Rohit and whispered, "Ritika bhi hai yaha par"

Rohit stopped laughing and looked at Ritika. He passed a smile to her and said, "Hi ! Ritika, tum peeche ku khadi ho ? Dikh hi nhi rhi thi."

"Ab kaise ho, aap ?" Ritika asked in low voice.

"Bilkul badiya lekin, tum dono theek nhi lag rhe." Rohit said seriously while looking at me and Ritika. "Tum dono ko itni chot kaise lagi ?"

I and Ritika looked at each other and then, at warden. Warden smiled and said, "Ritika, tum mere saath bahar chalo, thoda kaam hai."

Warden and Ritika walked out from the room. Rohit looked at them with confused look, then he turned his head and looked at me. I passed a fake smile, sat on the chair beside his bed and softly slapped on his face.

"Kamine ! beech mein aane ki kya zarurat thi ? Agar kuch ho jaata to ?" I asked in fake angrily tone.

"Yaar ! bimaar hu, tujhe sharam nhi aati, bimaar insaan ko thappad marte huwe ?" He asked innocently while rubbing his cheeks.

"Main kitna daar gya tha." I said while raising my eyebrows.

"Haaye Sumedh, tu mujhse itnaaaaa pyaar karta hai ki tu rone lag gya tha." He said and then started laughing.

"Tu hans rha hai ? Meri feelings ki to kadar hi nhi hai" I said in irritating tone and looked to the other direction.

"Are mujhe pta tha, jab tak tu hai mujhe kuch hone nhi dega." He said. I turned my head and looked at him. He smiled. But, his smile vanished when he noticed my face."Acha bta na, chot kaise lagi ?"

"Kuch nhi ! bas ek wrestling ka comeptition tha." I said with a smirk.

He looked at my face for 2 seconds. And Then, we both started laughing. Because, he understood the story behind my smirk. Bestfriend, No need to explain everything.

I stopped laughing when I noticed that the doctor entered. My eyes just glued at her. She was looking so pretty in white doctor coat. She came toward Rohit and started diagnosing him.

"Doctor, Aap ki shadi ho gyi ?" Rohit asked all of sudden.

I looked at him instantly. Doctor smiled and looked at Rohit for once. Then, she continued her diagnosese and said while checking his pulses, "Haan, aur ek 5 saal ka beta bhi hai."

"Doctor, mujhe achanak bahut dard hone lga." Rohit said seriously.

"Kaha par ? Pait mein ?" Doctor asked in worried tone.

"Nhi, yaha par," Rohit said, while pointing towards his heart. "Aapnein dil tod diya ye baat bolkr."

'Uff ! ye ladka, bina flirt kiye reh nhi sakta.' I thought and rolled my eyes.

"Mujhe lagta hai, ab tum bilkul theek ho. Main tumhare discharge ki baat krke aati hu tumhare sir se." Doctor said.

I chuckled, but kept my hand on my mouth. Doctor looked at me and then, left from there. After that, Ritika entered with a tray of food.

"Vo Warden sir nein khana bheja hai." She said while coming forward.

She kept the food tray on the side table. She brought the mini table from the corner and kept that on the bed. I helped Rohit to sit properly.  Ritika kept the tray of food in front of Rohit, and we started eating.

"Acha Ritika, waise tum us time boys hostel ke paas kar kya rhi thi ?" Rohit asked to Ritika.

"Main ek senior ke saath gyi thi, Par vo mujhe waha akela chor kr kahi chali gyi thi. Phir Harsh and Raghu aa gye the." Ritika said in guilty tone.

"Tumnein uske baad, warden mam ko btaya tha, us senior ke baremain ?" I asked while eating a bite of chapati.

"Haan ! btaya tha, But jab warden mam nein unse pucha to di bolti ki, vo mujhse pehle kabhi mili hi nhi. Us din first time meri shakal dekh rhi hai." Ritika said shockingly.

"Kon thi vo ?" Rohit asked casually.

"Priyanshi Di." Ritika said.

I and Rohit stopped eating and looked at each other. Then, we lowered our lashes and continued eating silently.

"Door rha kro usse, achi ladki nhi hai." Rohit said.

"Aap jante hai unhe ? Aapki classmate hai kya ? Kon hai vo ?" Ritika asked while looking at Rohit.

"Sumedh ki EX - Girlfriend." Rohit said while concentrating at the food.
