Sumedh's pov

Sir looked at warden, wore the glasses and ordered, "Call the police."

Warden widened his eyes and opened his mouth. Then, he slowly turned his head toward me and looked at me shockingly. Immediately, I bowed my head.

"Sumedh, aaisa nhi kar sakta sir." Warden said in low voice, but in confident tone. "Sumedh aur Rohit mere student se jyada mere bache jaise hai. Ye dono ek dusre ka lea jaan de sakte hai, par kabhi ek dusre ki jaan nhi le sakte."

My eyes got wet and a tear rolled down from my eye, but stopped near my cheeks. His last line 'Ek dusre ka lea jaan de sakte hai' reminded me of the incident. He reminded me that Rohit seriously saved my life. I wiped my tear and looked at the Director sir.

"Maine hi kiya hai sir. Maine hi Rohit ko mara hai." I said sternly and in full confident tone.

Warden looked at me angrily. I looked at him and then, lowered my lashes. He ordered angrily, "Sumedh, tum 2 min bahar jakar wait kro. Main sir se baat krke aata hu."

I didn't say anything, looked at him for once and silently walked out from the cabin.

I came out from the cabin and stood aside. I took out the phone from the pocket and opened messages. I opened the last message which I received - That was a video message.

/* MESSAGE BEGINS

There was a room - a complete dark room. Only a single ray of sun light was peeping from the corner of the window and was falling on Ritika.

Ritika was sitting on a chair. Her hands and legs were tightly tied with a rope. A cloth was tied on her mouth and her head was down. Harsh and Raghu were standing beside her with a wide smile on their faces.

A third person was there who was recording the video. After 2 min, the third person turned the camera lens toward his face.

"Hanji, bituwwa Sumedh. Faltu bakwas to hum karunga nhi, pte ki baat par aata hu. Ee jo ladki hai na, bari sundar hai, bole to... Ik dum chand ka tukda. Ab tumre liye ye news hai ki ye jo humre dost log hai na… Haarsh and Raaghu... unke baremain mein kisi se kuch nhi bolna... warna ye ladki... kahi mooh dikane layak nhi bachegi... aur tum bhaag kr... marne ka lea... humre bataye address par aa jayo... aur der mat krna... Vo kya hai... ladki bahuuut sundar hai, humse sabar nhi hoga." The third person said with an evil smile and in different accent.

He again turned the camera lens and focused on the face of Ritika. I noticed scratches and finger prints on her face. That means, they beat her. Her eyes were red which proved that she cried a lot.

MESSAGE END */

The video message ended. I noticed that I received an another message. I opened the message and realised that Harsh sent the address. I kept the phone in my pocket and started walking towards the main gate of the college.

I stopped at some distance and noticed that guards were sitting at the main gate. I turned to the right and walked toward the back side of main building. I stopped in front of a wall, looked around and noticed that a ladder was kept aside. I brought the ladder and kept against the wall.

I started climbing up, stopped for a second and jumped from there. I looked around, when my heart started pumping faster.

"Kisi nein nhi dekha, great. Kheto ke beech mein college hone ka faida hai." I whispered while taking deep breath.

I started walking toward the address. Our college campus was very big, but the campus was built on the outskirts area - Delhi NCR 'Noida' . So, we could hardly find any vehicle.

Noida is a part of National Capital Region (NCR). Noida is located in Gautam Buddu Nagar of Uttar Pradesh state. It is famous for IT sectors but also famous for unsafety.

I walked for around half an hour and started sweating a lot. I stopped, kept my hands on knees, and tried to collect some energy and breath. My tongue got dry. I cleaned the sweat from my forehead by one finger.

I stood straight and inserted my hand into the pocket to take out the phone. I got scare, because my phone wasn't there. I started searching in every pocket, but my phone was missing.

I took a deep breath and tried to remember the address. I thought for few seconds and started running toward the address.

After 10 min, I reached at the place and stood in front of the door. The house was broken and half burned. I slowly opened the door, entered inside the house and noticed that Ritika was sitting on the chair and she was alone.

I smiled and ran towards her. But, someone kicked me from behind and I fell on the ground. Harsh, Raghu and the third person came out from the dark.

The third person came toward me, sat beside me on knees and said while holding my mouth, "Itni bhi kya jaldi hai ? Humse bhi to 2-3 baatein kar lijea."

I stood up and he stood up as well. Anger started forming inside me, when I looked at Harsh and Raghu and said, " Tum logo ko kya lagta hai, mere dost ko marne ke baad tum log zinda bach jayoge."

I narrowed my eyebrows and punched the third person. Harsh and Raghu ran toward me, but I punched them both. They fell on the ground. That time, I was angry and was fighting for my friend.

Raghu stood up and ran towards me. I looked at him and kicked him on the stomach. He again fell on the ground. I looked at Harsh and noticed that he stood up. I walked towards Harsh and started punching him.

Raghu came at my back and held my neck. I held his hands and pulled him in front of me, then I punched him on his face. He fell on the ground and touched his nose, when he realized that the nose started bleeding.

Harsh came and kicked me at my back. Instantly, I turned back and angrily looked at Harsh. I punched him on his stomach. He fell on the ground. I sat beside him and started punching him.

"Yeeee ! Lalan naam hai humra, aur humre samnein marne ka haq sirf humko hai." The third person said while pointing by a gun.

I stopped punching, looked at Lalan and started sweating. He gnashed his teeth and pressed the trigger of the gun. I held my breath and tightly closed my eyes.
