Ed had been waiting and agonizing 2 days for his date with Kristen, now that the day has come, he was extremely nervous. He planned on taking her down to the boardwalk, they had games and rides there for the summer carnival so he'd decided that was a good place to go. He stood in front of his small closet deciding what to wear, he didn't have much into a few shorts and sweaters and a few pairs of pants, he pulled out a pair of jeans and his favourite sweater, he walked over to his bathroom and brushed his hair back, he put on his shoes and went to pick up Kristen.
He walked up her door at 6:59 and knocked on the door, it was only a moment before Kristen opened the door "hi, glad you could find my place easily" she said, giving him a smile that he thought could light up a whole room "yeah, um, are you ready to head out?" He said, Kristen nodded and hooked her arm around his, they walked over to his car and headed to the board walk.
Everything went pretty well, the went on the ferris week one of the few rides Ed could stomach and played a few games, they played the game where they had to knock down the bottles with a ball, contrary to popular belief Ed had terrible aim, Kristen however managed to hit the bottles and win them a prize when the person behind the counter handed it to her she turned to Ed "I know usually it's the guy who gets the girl a stuffed animal but why not turn things around" she said holding the stuff bear out and handing to him, he chuckled "thanks" he said now holding the bear.
the rest of the night went pretty smoothly, at the end of the night Ed drove Kristen home and up to her porch "well, good night Ed" she said "yeah goodnight" but neither of them moved away, Kristen took a deep breath in and leaned up, her lips met Ed's and they kissed, their glasses made a small 'clink' as they met, Ed's eyes fluttered closed of their own accord and he felt heat rising in his cheeks, when Kristen pulled away she smiled at the evident blush on her face, she kissed his cheek one more time and said "goodnight Ed, I had a lot of fun" she then headed inside, and Ed headed to his car and drove home, tonight had been a good night for Ed, scratch that, it had been a great night for Ed.

I'm having a whole bunch of fun writing it and I'm probably gonna put it on ao3 so those without Wattpad can read it (once I get an ao3 account that is) also this unnecessarily long authors note is me trying to up my word count
