Rebekah's POV
I made my way to Malia's room. She was still sleeping, her eyes swollen and red, tear stains running down her cheek. I sighed to myself and pulled her chair up to her bed and watched her sleep. She looked so peaceful, so beautiful. Yeah, I've had these feelings for quite some time now. I always thought I was straight but the closer I got with Malia, the more unsure of myself I became. I let out a shaky breath. How would I tell her my feelings? Does she even feel the same way? What if... I lightly growled. I can't do this. I can't take the risk, I can't loose Malia. I sighed pacing the room when I heard mumbles coming from Malia. I looked over to her and saw her sitting up, rubbing her eyes. "Hey Mal, you feeling better?"
Malia sniffled and looked at me, sadness covering every inch of her features. I frowned and sat on her bed and held her hand. "Malia, I'm sorry he did this to you. I'm sorry he tore you apart like this but I promise you that he won't ever hurt you like this again. I won't let him. That's why we're leaving."
Malia looked at me, furrowing her eyebrows. "Where are we going?"
I shrugged. "I'll talk to Bonnie and Caroline. But one thing is for sure, I won't make you suffer being around him and his little play toy any longer."
Malia looked at me with sadness in her eyes. She had tears threatening to fall and she choked out the words, "She's pregnant, isn't she?"
I frowned and nodded my head, not really knowing what to say to her. She started crying and all I wanted to do was hold her close to me and make her feel safe. I lowly growled, hating that my idiot brother broke Malia like this. She was so strong and full of life but now her beautiful crystal blue eyes were dull, they lost their spark and I wanted nothing more than to return it. I hugged Malia tightly, trying to ignore the electricity that I felt when I touched her. I whispered in her ear. "Everything will be okay, Malia. I'll protect you unlike Nik could, I'll keep you safe and spend everyday making sure you're happy."
Malia looked at me with sadness in her eyes and it killed me seeing her so upset. I wanted nothing more than to kiss her and reassure her that she's finally safe. "Thank you, Beks." Malia said, laying her head on my shoulder.
I couldn't help but to smile. I kissed her forehead and felt that electricity again. I shivered and watched her as she softly began to breathe, falling asleep again. What makes me love this girl like I do? I've never liked someone as much as I like her, not even Marcel. I sighed and closed my eyes, my head resting on hers. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep.

Malia's POV
I woke up in Rebekah's arms. I slightly blushed and slowly got up, making sure not to wake her as I stepped into the bathroom. I quickly packed my stuff up that whoever packed my clothes had missed. I yawned and put the bag filled with bathroom and hair stuff by my door. "Hey sleepyhead."
I turned to Rebekah and smiled. "Hey."
Rebekah got out of my bed and stretched. "You ready to leave? Well still see Kol and Elijah but as far as Nik goes, I won't force you to see him."
I nodded and smiled at her. "Thank you for everything Rebekah."
Rebekah smiled and grabbed my bag with one hand and my hand with the other. I felt electricity shoot up my arm and it made me shiver. I smiled at Rebekah and looked at our hands. Rebekah noticed and smiled more, giving my hand a squeeze. "I won't let anyone hurt you Malia, never again. Well go stay with one of your friends until I find us a more permanent place."
I looked at Rebekah, curiosity taking over me as we walked out the door of the mansion that was the Mikealson home. "You're willing to leave this, your family behind for me?"
Rebekah looked at me and shrugged like it was no big deal. "Yeah, I leave them all the time for a lot less than this. He hurt you, Malia. I just want to get you far away from the pain as possible. You didn't deserve what he did to you and believe me when I say that he will be getting the beating of his lifetime before we leave town for good."
I looked at Rebekah and smiled. "Thank you, Beks. Let's get going in case Nik comes home soon. I don't want to confront him today."
Rebekah smiled and nodded, putting my last bag in the trunk. Here we go, I'm leaving the only place where I've felt at home, were I felt loved. Sure I stayed with the Salvatores but there's no closer family than this one. That's why I wondered why Niklaus did it, why'd he cheat on me? I frowned and pushed the thoughts aside and got in the car where Rebekah was waiting for me. I didn't care how bad this hurt Niklaus, he hurt me way worse than this will hurt him. I am going to miss Kol and Elijah though. What sucks more is I didn't get to say goodbye to them.
"Mal, you should probably see which friend is nice enough to welcome both of us to stay with them." She gave me a weak smile and I knew exactly what she meant. She had done terrible things to my friends and the chance of them forgiving her for everything is slim. Maybe they would if I told them me and Rebekah were a package deal.
Malia: Hey guys. Can I stay with one of you guys? I left the Mikealsons, sort of. Rebekah left with me and we need somewhere to go.
Stefan: You left? Why didn't you tell me you were going too?
Damon: What are you two like a thing now?
Malia: Damon! Shut up!
Bonnie: It's just me at my house since grams... I have two extra bedrooms. Rebekah can come too.
Caroline: wooo! Party night at Bonnie's! If it's okay that I spend the night anyways...
Bonnie: of course! See you guys soon!
I smiled and put my phone up. I have some great friends.
