Rebekah's POV

I pulled into Bonnie's two story house and gave Malia a small smile. "You sure Bonnie doesn't hate me?"

Malia smiled at me. "I'm positive that she doesn't. She's not one to hold a grudge for long, plus it's been how many years?"

I sighed nervously. "Thanks Malia."

Malia smiled and grabbed my hand. I froze for a second but squeezed her hand. "I'm the one who should be thanking you, you left your family for me."

I chuckled. "It's good to be back in Mystic Falls anyways, the visit is long overdue. But Nik will look for us here so we can't stay long, just long enough for me to find us a place to go."

Malia grinned and shook her head. "Of course he will, but forget what he thinks. He shouldn't of cheated on me."

I grinned. I didn't know if Malia was really feeling this or hiding her emotions but I'm assuming Bonnie, Caroline and I will get to the bottom of it later on tonight. I got out of the car and grabbed one of my bags. "We should only need one bag each, we won't be here long."

Malia nodded grabbing one of her bags. Then she looked at me and gasped. "Now where will I go to get my hair dye for my hair?"

I chuckled and shook my head. Here we are pretty much homeless and this girl is worried about hair dye. God, I love her. "I'm sure Caroline and Bonnie know a place, Mal."

Malia just nodded and shut the trunk door. "Let's do this!"

I giggled and shook my head, following behind Malia. We were greeted at the door by Bonnie. "Hey guys!"

Malia smiled and hugged Bonnie while I stood there awkwardly. "Hey Bonnie."

Bonnie smiled at me. "Hey Rebekah."

I smiled shyly and grabbed Malia's bag from her hand. "Go hangout with the girls and I'll put our bags up."

Malia nodded. Bonnie pointed up the stairs. "The two on the left are yours."

I nodded in appreciation and headed towards the rooms. I put Malia's bag in the first room and mine in the second. I sighed as I sat on the queen bed and looked at my phone.

Klaus: where the bloody hell are you! Is Malia with you?!

Elijah: Sister, where have you and Malia gone? Come home. We can all talk this out.

I sighed and tossed my phone on the bed and laid back. I know the only reason they care that I'm gone is because of Malia. They could care less if I was in my own but I honestly understand why. I was forced out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on the door then saw Malia's small frame make her way into the room. "Hey."

I smiled. "Hey Mal."

She grinned and sat next to me. "Bonnie says to get your ass downstairs because the movie is about to start."

Malia's POV

Apparently Bonnie and Caroline thought it would be funny to watch a horror movie, knowing that I hate them. I jumped again for at least the six time in the past ten minutes and hid my face into Rebekah's side. She chuckled and wrapped her arm around me, instantly making me feel safe. I sighed and got comfy. I don't know why but I feel safer with her around. I sighed and closed my eyes, wanting this stupid movie to end. "Guys, is it almost over?"

Rebekah chuckled and rubbed my arm. "We can go look at places if you want."

I looked towards Bonnie and Caroline who had their eyes glued to the screen and nodded my head, getting up. "Yeah, let's do that instead. You need a nice house and it's better than watching this."

Rebekah laughed and got up, grabbing my hand and leading me upstairs. "It's our house."

I blushed slightly and looked at my hand in Rebekah's. Why did this feel so right? Why am I feeling this way? I sighed lowly, getting flustered. Rebekah seemed to notice and she turned around to look at me. "You alright?"

I just shook my head and went in front of her and pulled her into her room. I grabbed her laptop and opened it up. "So where are you thinking?"

Rebekah shrugged. "I've been all over the world. Lived almost everywhere, you choose."

I sighed and looked at her. "Your money, your choice."

She smiled at me. "Your choice, I want you somewhere where you'll be happy."

I looked at her and frowned. "Rebekah I'm not going to drag you somewhere where you don't wanna be. Plus, I haven't been much of anywhere so you choose. You know the best places."

Rebekah returned my frown. "I don't know, somewhere with a lot of woods but people too. Preferably somewhere far away from the Cullens and my brother."

I nodded my head. "Agreed. So, lets ask Bonnie."

Rebekah shook her head. "No one can know where we go, if they do Nik will just torture it out of her."

I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. "Okay then, how about Washington?"

Rebekah smiled. "Yeah, my brother wouldn't look there and there's tons of woods. Nik wouldn't look there, hopefully."

I smiled back and shrugged. "I know, I'm good."

Rebekah rolled her eyes and smiled. "Now the house. I will not be staying in a hotel, so well get one already furnished."

I nodded in agreement. "Three bedrooms though, one for guests then one for each of us."

Rebekah scrunched her face up. "I was thinking more of five with a gaming room for you, an entertainment room, living room, dinning room, and kitchen with woods in the backyard of course."

I smiled. "It sounds perfect to me."

Rebekah smiled. "I'll get to work, you get some sleep. You need it."

I nodded and got up. "Goodnight Beks, have fun."

Rebekah smiled and waved me off. I giggled and walked into my room and laid in the queen size bed and closed my eyes. It wasn't long until blackness took over.
