Chapter 11: Bo's

Malia's POV

I smiled as 'Tell Me You Love Me' by Demi came on the radio. I shook my head to the beat and sang along. Rebekah chuckled and turned the music down a bit. "So, I was thinking that instead of staying one on place and taking the chance of getting caught that we just travel the world, never staying in a place longer than needed."

I looked at Rebekah. "Are you serious?"

Rebekah smiled at me and took my hand. "We choose to run for my brother but just because we are on the run doesn't mean we can't have a little fun, now does it?"

I smiled and looked at her as she softly placed a kiss on my hand. "I suppose not."

Rebekah grinned at me. "The first place we are going is a surprise, though. Afterwards, you have a say in where we go, this trip is for you as well after all."

I smiled and squeezed Rebekah's hand. "You're the best, Beks. I don't know what I would do without you."

Rebekah chuckled and shrugged her shoulders. "You would be incredibly lost without me. You wouldn't know what to do with yourself."

I playfully rolled my eyes. "Right, I would be lost without the famous Rebekah Mikealson."

Rebekah gave me a cheeky grin. "You would, admit it, Malia."

I laughed and playfully hit her arm. "Shut up."

*TWO HOURS LATER*

Rebekah's POV

I kept my eyes on the road and I listened to Malia's shallow breaths. She fell asleep about thirty minutes after our little argument. I smiled to myself as I remembered it, how incredibly adorable she was when she argued. I could start petty little fights with her all day and never get sick of it honestly. She gets defensive so easily and it's just amusing to watch. Everything about this girl is amusing and I can't believe that this is happening right now. We are running away together, promising to protect each other. She even kissed me! I really didn't think that she liked me like that but knowing that she does, and knowing that I no longer have to keep my feelings a secret anymore is amazing. I can finally be who I really am, I can finally fight to be with the girl that I love.

I pulled into the driveway of a diner and got out, stretching my legs. It's been a while since Malia last ate and I don't want the poor girl to starve. I went to the passenger door and opened it, lightly shaking Malia. "Mal, wake up. You hungry?"

Malia's voice was husky from her nap. "Mmm, where are we?"

I looked at the name of the diner and smiled. "Bo's."

Malia jumped up. I took her here one time with Kol when we were out shopping. "Oh, yummy!"

I smiled and grabbed her hand, helping her out. "My lady."

She giggled and got out of the car and basically dragged me in to the diner. "Bo! Your favorite customer is here!"

I laughed as Bo ran out from the kitchen and picked Malia up and hugged her. I don't know why but everyone loves Malia, I don't see why her parents never did. Bo cleared his throat which caused me to snap out of my thoughts. I smiled at him. "Hello, Bo."

"Rebekah, always nice to see you."

See, Bo was a vampire as well. He mixed blood in the food for vampires so that it was bearable and easier to act human. Of course, not only vampires eat here so he uses it as a safety precaution as well. "You too, Bo."

He smiled at me. "Just you two I'm assuming?"

I nodded and gave him a small smile. "Yeah."

He nodded and grabbed two menus and sat us down in a booth. I sat across from Malia. "Thank you Bo."

He smiled and walked away. I opened up my menu and looked at Malia. "What're you getting, love?"

Malia shrugged. "I don't know, definitely the smoothie though."

I giggled and shook my head. "Of course."

Malia slightly blushed. I grinned and looked at my menu. "So, where do you wanna go?"

Malia looked at me, hands pressed against each other as she made a weird face. "I was thinking Seattle but then I remembered that they live close to there, so, it doesn't matter. I'm good anywhere as long as I'm with you."

I smiled and grabbed her hand and kissed it. "Just wait princess, you'll love where I'm taking you first."
