Malia's POV

I yawned and rolled over seeing a sleeping Rebekah next to me. I smiled at her sleeping form. She was so beautiful. I checked my phone and saw it was ten in the morning. I got up and threw a pair of sweatpants on and headed towards the counter, writing Rebekah a note;

"Rebekah,
I went out to get us some food. I'll
be back soon. I love you."

I left it on the table and smiled. Rebekah always spoiled me, now it's my turn to spoil her a little bit. I grabbed my bag off the chair and headed out of the hotel. I walked down the street and made my way to the closest coffee shop. I went up to the desk and talked to the waitress. "Hello, I would like a strawberry banana smoothie."

The lady wrote down my order and smiled. "I'll have that right out for you."

I nodded and sat at one of the tables and got my phone out and texted Bonnie.

Me: I miss you.

Bonnie: I miss you too! You need to come visit sometime!

"Strawberry banana smoothie!"

I got up and grabbed my drink and an empty cup with a lid that I saw. Once I had everything, I began walking down the street again. I hummed 'Bad at Love' by Halsey the whole way back to the hotel. I was about to grab a girl when I felt a hand on my mouth and an arm around my waist. I screamed but the sounds were muffled. I tried to break free but I couldn't, he was too strong. I did the only thing I could think of, I let my fangs out and bit down on his hand. "Son of a bitch!"

I took this chance to knee him in the stomach and he dropped to the ground. I took note of the tattoo on his shoulder, the same crescent that Jacob and Seth had. With the wolf still on the ground I dialed Rebekah. She picked up on the first ring and I started crying, telling her everything that's happened.

It wasn't even a minute later and Rebekah came barging out of the hotel. She picked the wolf up by his hair and pulled it back. She snarled in his ear. "What the bloody hell are you doing here? How did you find us?"

The man chuckled. "We've been following you. Niklaus has a pretty price above your head, Malia."

Rebekah snarled again and pulled the mans head back farther, causing it to hit the cement. The wolf howled out in pain and others began to emerge from the woods across the street. Rebekah smirked and snapped the wolf's neck. She then dragged his body over to his pack. "What a pity getting involved with my brother. It'll only get you killed. I'm going to say this once and only once, leave Malia and I alone. Relate that message to my brother."

The men picked up the wolf that Rebekah killed and scrabbled back into their black van. I looked at Rebekah and pouted. "He's not going to stop, is he?"

Rebekah frowned. "No."

I just nodded my head and looked at the ground, my heart shattering at the thought of going back home. "I'll go back, but only if we get our own place. I can't stay in the same house as Nik."

Rebekah grabbed my hand and kissed my knuckles. "My brave little Malia, your wish is my command."

I blushed and pulled my hand away. "Sappy!"

Rebekah giggled and grabbed my hand as we headed back to our hotel room. It's time to pack to go home.
