The boy walked into the school, people saying hello as he entered, girls waving to him, and a few of his sports friends patting him on the back. He put his arms around two of the guys and began talking to the people that adore him. He was good looking, strong, and an all-around likable guy. Life was good. Life was fantastic! For him at least.

My name is Julian Athens, I am not the popular boy that I was just talking about. I am an introvert, a weakling, and a bit of a pessimist. I am just trying not to be stepped on by these giant idiots. Do you have any idea what it's like to fight your way through a crowd of sports players that are all around a foot taller than you, but probably much more? No? It's not fun.

As someone like me, usually I can make my way through without getting too beat up. Thank God for making me skinny. You know, thinking about it, I have a body most girls would kill for. Skinny, slim shoulders, little to no fat on my body. Ha, those bitches have nothing on me.

Finally making it through the crowd to my locker, I opened it up and took the books out, placing them into my satchel bag. I quickly checked my hair in the mirror I had hanging in the back. Perfect as usual.

"Did you get more stickers?" Henry, a friend of mine asked.

I looked through my locker at all the stickers, decals, and mini posters. "Which ones are you referring to? The Hamilton ones or the RWBY ones?"

"The Hamilton ones. I don't think I've seen those ones yet." He said.

"No, I've had those for awhile now. Still wish I could get some tickets..." I mumbled mostly to myself.

Henry gripped my shoulder. "Hey, we've got the next best thing. History is second period."

I shut my locker and turned to face him. "Ha. Funny. Oh, looks like the soccer team's on the move."

The two of us ran out of the way as the taller boys stormed through the hall. Mixed in were some girls, someone from the school paper, and the ever helpful Coach Davidson. We are so lucky that I saw them coming, or we'd have been caught up in the tide.

"You look terrible." I heard a complete dickwad say from somewhere behind me in a worried voice.

"Good morning to you too, Radcliff." I mumbled.

Warren Radcliff, a German beauty with a really awesome last name (Oh how I love you Daniel). He was five foot eleven and the tallest person in the academics team. He was blond and his hair was trimmed on the sides and the back, the front being just long enough to comb. And he was a complete jerk.

"Are you ok? You look really tired."

YOU SEE?! HE ACTS AS IF HE'S CONCERNED!! He's so damn nice to me! I hate it! He's always asking how I am, and he's trying to help me out all the time, and he's being sexy as Hell. He's a complete jerk!!

"I am tired, I had to finish that science paper." I said, my chin up (Not just because I had to look up to speak to him).

Warren looked confused. "You mean the one that we're working on in class? For the next month?" He questioned.

Rolling my eyes, I responded. "Yeah, it's the only paper that we have due."

"Umm... Why? What are you going to do during class? Plus, what if Mr Hyde changes one of the requirements of the paper?"

Damn you and your sexy accent... "I listen to music during class whenever I'm ahead. Plus, Mr Hyde and I have an arrangement, so I'll be turning my paper in today and he'll be grading it based on the current criteria."

"Wow! That's wonderful, Julian!" Warren said.

Henry scoffed. "This is normal for him and you know it. He's always taking things a little too far for a grade. You know, even through he did it all at once, I bet he's still going to get a better grade than anyone else."

"That's not a bad thing. He works hard for that grade." Warren chimed.

Ok, I've got to be somewhere else before I start hating him more. I mean sure, he is my friend, and I love having him as a friend (And that's all! I don't want anything more), but the guy is aggravating. Nobody should be that... What's the word... Magnetic. He's good looking, but not in the extreme way that actually makes people gross and too much so you can't even interact with them, and his God damn accent...

"The bell's gonna ring, so we should get moving." I quickly said.

Warren nodded. "Of course. I could walk with you if you'd like, I'm free first period."

I hate him so very much. "No." I responded, shooting him down like the little X-Wing he was. My defenses will not be broken by some stupid rebel forces and their republic support.

"Oh. Ok then." He said, hesitating a little bit.

Don't you go making me feel bad... "We can sit together at lunch."

"Great!" Warren cheered.

His smile is really warm and nice... I hate it.
