people who don't know what it means to stay,
people who too often forget, but never forgive,
convincing yourself they don't need to know your secrets,
learning to deal with weighted shoulders,
searching for the answers to questions that don't have any,
what it means to overcompensate,
what it means to overanalyze,
what it means to overreact,
the effort it takes to stay true to yourself while lying to the world,
the acceptance that it doesn't move forward from this,
the eroding knot in your stomach that almost feels like home,
how to watch from the outside and learn to like it that way,
how to count confidence as arrogance and suppress necessity as sin,
how to confuse what you did to deserve this with what they never did to deserve you,
