          Once upon a time there was a monster who saw a stray human. The human looked really pretty even with her short hair, she also looked so wild and dangerous, but the monster knew that was just her front...

          The stray human actually looked sadder than dangerous when the monster first saw her. She and the monster are very much alike. At that moment, the monster knew what she needed. She needed someone by her side, someone to lean on, and someone she can depend on... The monster also felt the need to take care of her... he felt the need to be that someone for her... and even though he didn't know why.

          The monster first thought he was just pitying the stray human... but that changed as the days passed... as he spent most of his time with her... he'd gotten to know her better... how stubborn she was... how loveable she was... he never wanted to be apart from her again... He realized that she wasn't just any other human... she was a princess... his princess... even if he didn't know if monsters like him deserved a princess like her.

"Hey, Charlotte."

Mula sa aklat na binabasa ko, nilipat ko ang tingin sa halimaw. "Why?"

"Give me attention." Sumner cutely pouts as he reaches for my hand.

"Huh?" aalisin ko sana ang hawak niya, but he has a vice grip on my wrist. Nasa gitna kami ng corridor ng i-forgot-the-name building! Maraming estudyante ang nakatingin at makakakita sa'min!

Why is he even holding my hand? We're not in a relationship! Well, not yet - sabi ng malanding bahagi ng utak ko.

"What's your favorite color?" tanong niya randomly.

Napa-'huh' ulit ako, but I answer his question anyway. "Grey. Bakit?"

"Ask me what my favorite color is." He demands, and I roll my eyes.

Sumner Falle could really be weird at random times. "What's your favorite color?"

"You." he halts, and I do too.

"But I'm not—"

"You gave colors to my world, Charlotte. Even if you confused the hell out of me, my boring life became lively. You have no idea how boring everything was before you transferred..."

There he is again, showing emotions he wants only me to see. As if he's giving me an idea of how boring everything was before I came.

Humakbang siya palapit sa'kin. "Let's be together."

Is he... confessing to me.... right fucking now?

"You mean...?"

He grins politely and nods, "Please be mine. And I'll be yours."

I think my heart stopped. This monster is so fucking sweet, I can't.

Binitawan niya ang isang kamay ko, para kunin ang phone sa bulsa ng grey slacks niya. "Or I'll call Heloise and tell her everything."

Napa-iling ako at napangiti. God, Sumner Spring Falle really is something else. I love him.

Okay, not love-love. It's too early for that, but you get what I mean right?

"You're threatening me again." Pabiro ko siyang pinamaywangan, "I'll tell Loise everything later though. Paano ba 'yan? Wala ka nang panakot sa'kin?"
