Chapter 7

Chandlers POV;

I navigated my way around the party with the music blaring.

"CHANDLER!" I heard someone yell my name.

I turned around and saw Zoe.

"Hey." I yelled over the music.

"Hey! Have you seen Josh or Avery around?" She yelled.

"No, sorry. Have you seen Bella or Sam?" I yelled.

"No. I think I saw Bella and some other girl on the staircase a minute ago but then I lost them." She yelled.

"Okay, thanks!" I yelled and headed towards the staircase.

They have to still be around here...

That's when I bumped into Sam.

"Hey Chandler!" Sam slightly slurred.

Leave it to Sam to start drinking as soon as the party starts.

"Hey, have you seen Bella?" I yelled to him.

"Nah man, sorry!" Sam chuckled.

I sighed and kept looking.

My eyes eventually landed on her... In a perfect outfit. Her everything was perfect. I mean, of course she's perfect no matter what but tonight she looked absolutely stunning. Her hair was teased and really gave her an edgy look, and the makeup just looked gorgeous. I can tell Makenna helped her out.

Naturally my heart started racing, just like every other time I've seen her. She's just so perfect and something about her presence makes me want to rip my clothes off.

Man, I've got it bad.

But I can tell she doesn't feel the same way, she pushed me off of her earlier. If that isn't a sign, I don't know what is.

I don't want to pressure her into anything, I'm not like that. But I also don't want her to be with Hunter. Hunter gets under my skin like no other... And he doesn't even try.

She slightly turned her head and spotted me, staring at me the same way I was at her.

Her new black tips really stood out in her long blonde hair, really pulling it all together as her blue eyes sparkled under the randomly colored lights Sam's using to light up the dim room.

She was standing next to the drink table, obviously she had lost her friends in the crowd. She looked kinda like a lost little puppy and it was adorable as fuck.

She slowly made her way over to me, her eyes looking everywhere else but into mine.

"Hey." She said quietly.
Her eyes still wondering around.

"Hey..." I said awkwardly.

"Um... About earlier..." She starts.
Now she's looking at the ground.

"Save it." I say softly.

"I get it. I shouldn't have tried anything. I mean you have Hunter... I'm sorry. It was stupid. I don't want to kiss you anyways." I say.

The last part sounded a bit more harsh than intended and I can tell Bella is offended as she raises her head and cocks an eyebrow at me before crossing her arms over her chest.

"Shit. I didn't mean it like that." I quickly try to think of something, anything, to say that'll save my ass.

"I meant like I don't want to get in between you and Hunter. Not that I think you're ya know not worthy of kissing. I'm just saying I don't want to be a problem." I ramble.
