Chapter 2

(we are gonna skip to the train ride.)

We got on the train and went to our compartment. As we were walking there, I noticed that a lot of people weren't there due to the war.

Tears welled in my eyes as I remembered the pale, lifeless faces of my long lost friends. My vision blurred and tears started streaming down my cheeks.

"YN?" I heard Draco say.

I blinked rapidly, and wiped my eyes and cheeks. Preventing the tears from continuing.

"Yeah." I replied.

"I know it's hard, but we can get through this." Draco said, slightly smiling at me.

I smiled back at him. And suddenly a question came to my mind.

"Have you ever thought about being friends with Harry, Ron, and Hermione?" I asked.

He just hung his head.

"I've always wanted to, but I had a reputation to uphold." Draco replied.

"But this is a new year, new age. No Voldemort to cower in fear of. We're finally free of that." I countered.

"I don't know." Draco said, nervously.

'Really?' my look said.

"Try." I said.

He sighed, "I'll try."

"Yay!" I exclaimed, "Now what are we waiting for? Let's go!"

I got up, grabbed his hand, and we started searching the compartments for Ron, Harry, and Hermione.

I knocked on the glass and Hermione beckoned me in.

I slid the compartment door open and there was one seat left. Draco sat down and I sat on his lap.

"So what have you guys been up to?" I asked them.

"Nothing much, just the usual." Harry answered.

"Why are you guys here?" Hermione asked.

"I had something to tell the three of you." Draco chimed in, "And I promise it's not an insult."

The three of them confusedly glanced at one another. Which was a sign that they were interested.

"I am sorry for the way I treated you guys and I want to start over. Do you think you can forgive me?" Draco apologized.

Hermione smiled.

"I know we can." She said.

Draco smiled as Harry offered his hand. Draco shook Harry's hand. A feud now settled, but now is a blossoming friendship.

(Yay! Draco made new friends! Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Jean Granger. I really wanted to put this in here because they needed to end this feud.)
