I heard the piercing scream of Darcy cut through the atmosphere. I jumped out of bed and ran towards her crib. I took her in my hands and rocked back and forth, singing her lullaby song.

"You are my one and only. You can wrap your fingers around my thumb and hold me tight. Cause you are my one and--" Her crying stopped, but she was still wide awake. She stared at me and proceeded to rub her tummy.

"Bottle?" She nodded yes. I padded over to the kitchen and placed her in her high chair while I made her milk. I placed her milk in the microwave and set it to two minutes. I scooted a chair next to Darcy and I rested my head on her table. I could feel my eyelids getting heavy, but I was startled awake by the sound of glass shattering.

I grabbed Darcy and I ducked towards the floor. I crawled slowly towards the broken window, making sure to check my surroundings. As I came nearer towards the window, I heard the faint noise of male chatter. I wanted to scream so badly at them, but they could come back and hurt Darcy and I. No way was going to risk my daughter's life. I got up from the floor and examined the disaster area around me.

Varying shards of glass covered the floor and oddly enough, the mesh covering of my window was torn to pieces. Whoever they were obviously knew where I lived and had this plan in mind, but who could it be? I didn't do anything to anybody. I scanned my brain for moments when I have ever wronged somebody and not apologized and there has not been one moment when that has ever happened.

I let out a frustrated sigh and started to sweep the glass shards. As I was sweeping, I noticed, out of the corner of my left eye,an object. I stepped closer and saw it was a gigantic rock. I placed the broom and dustpan down and retrieved the rock. It was any typical rock you would find on the side of the road. It was large, varying in color from dark brown to a sidewalk grey, and was dusted with soil. Attached to it was a yellow note secured by a rubber band. I shakily unraveled the rubber band and retrieved the yellow note. I unfolded the yellow note.

With every section unfolding, I could feel my heart racing. My hands were shaking at a violent rate. A plethora of thoughts were going through my head. What if this person wants to kill me? What if this whole house is bugged? What if they are going to kidnap Darcy for ransom?

Oh my gosh! Darcy! I snapped my head in the direction Darcy was and she was still there, patiently waiting on her bottle. I made my way over to her and dragged her high chair closer to me. She was getting a kick out of it from all her giggles.

I was on the last unfolding before Darcy let out another cry.

"Darcy. Darcy. It's okay. Mommy's here. Let's go get your bottle." I rocked her softly while I grabbed her bottle from the microwave. I sat down on one of the stools at the kitchen counter and I fed her her bottle. She puckered her lips against the rubber nub and squeezed the milky liquid. Her eyelids started to flutter to a close and in a couple seconds she was fast asleep, snoring.

I set her down in her carrier and placed her on the kitchen table. I unfolded the rest of the note and I was in immediate shock. My hands instinctively went over my mouth and I was left in pure shock.

ANONYMOUS POV:

"Why did we do that?"

"Don't you want them back together? Besides Harry needs to know about this. He can't just be oblivious to the fact he has a child!"

"Still. It's not right what we did. We took it way to far. We scared the poor girl."

"Listen dumbass. We're not really going to threaten Darcy. It's just more incentive for her to go. Tomorrow, she will be in for the surprise of her life."

"I just don't think it's right. She said she never even wanted to see him. Darcy is happy. Why does he even need to be in her life?"

"Because it's not fair. Now shut up."
