There she was in flesh standing right in front of me. Four years really changes a person. Her hazel eyes were dulled, not as bright and lively as before. Under her eyes were deep bags, probably from work and stress. Her hair was halfway down her back in long layers that added volume, much different from the unlayered, waist length hair she used to have. The curliness and midnight black color remained the same. Her cheeks were still tinged with that rosy blush, not as prominent as before. Her eyelashes were longer, probably from the mascara. Her lips were still left slightly apart and in the shape of an O, but still were as pink and plump as I remembered.

"Lila?"

LILA'S POV:

There he was standing in the flesh right in front of me. His signature side swept curls were much longer and styled in some type of quiff. His emerald green eyes were laced with shock and concern. Not like you were concerned with leaving me and never explaining why you left. His lips were still as plump and pink as I remembered, slightly glossy from his mint chapstick. His entire face structure was more defined and accentuated. His whole face was just angles of beauty. Four years really changes a person.

I heard his beautiful voice say my name. Lila. It was a such a simple gesture, yet my mind was reeling in memories of before.

"Lila?" I finally snapped out of my thoughts and retained my focus back on his beautiful face.

Wait! What am I saying? He left me when I needed him the most! He didn't even give an explanation! He just left! He completely forgot about me! If it wasn't for now, he would have never spoken to me again!

Anger grew inside of me and I shoved away from his grasp. His face contorted into a concerned expression and his eyes glazed with shock. His mouth was parted open and his long fingers reached for my hand.

I couldn't be tempted again into his games. I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could.

HARRY'S POV;

She ran. I couldn't let her go again. I ran after her. Her hair was whipping in the wind and her heels were clacking loudly against the sidewalk. I pumped my legs faster. I couldn't let her go again. I just couldn't.

She made a sharp turn into a corner. I rounded the corner and I couldn't spot her. Where was my midnight haired angel?

"LILA! I KNOW YOU'RE HERE! Please come out. I just want to talk to you."

LILA'S POV:

I've never been so out of breath before in my life. I rounded the corner into the alley behind Smith Corporations and hid behind the metal trashcan.

I crinkled my nose at the disgusting smell and pressed myself up against the side of the hunk of metal. I was going to regret this later.

""LILA! I KNOW YOU'RE HERE! Please come out. I just want to talk to you."

Talk to me? More like laugh at me. Insult me. Rub salt in my reopened wounds. No way in hell was I ever going to talk to him.

"Lila please."

I could hear the pleading tone in his voice. Maybe you should talk to him Lila. He probably has an explanation. NO. NO. I do not want to play these games again. NO. Let him suffer and wait. He deserves it.

"Fine Lila. We can stay here all afternoon and all night because I'm not leaving until I talk to you."

The persistence in him was astonishing. My mind was saying no, but my heart wanted so badly to wrap my arms around his muscular frame and hold him close, while I run my fingers through his curls. My heart was telling me to be open and listen to what he had to say, but my brain was telling me to run into the backdoor and lock it. Wait! The backdoor of course!

With my back against the garbage can, I inched my way towards the backdoor. I slowly inched my toes, one inch at a time towards the cold metal of Smith Corporations. Once I felt the cool metal against my back, I widened my steps with the backdoor in sights, but a loud bang pierced the air. It was just my luck that the bottle blonde bimbo stepped out, screaming into the phone.

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! NO! I COULD CARE LESS IF YOU'RE OUT OF STOCK! I WANT THAT LOUIS VUITTON TIVOLI PM BAG TO SMITH CORPORATIONS NOW!"

With a press of her manicured hand, she frustratingly ended the call.

"I HATE EVERYONE! UGH!" Please don't see me. Please don't see me. Please don't see me. Do not turn around. Do not tu--

"LILA! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?! IT'S 5:30! YOUR LUNCH BREAK IS OVER! GET BACK IN THERE AND DO YOUR JOB YOU DAMN PEASANT!" Just then I heard the familiar scuff of of boots against the gravel, edging it's way towards us.

"Okay! Bye!" I scurried into the backdoor and jogged down the hallway. I didn't want to take the risk just in case Harry followed me. I entered the nearest ladies' room and started checking my outfit for any stains. There was a small ketchup stain, at least I hope it's ketchup, on my black pencil skirt, nothing too severe. I, however, reeked like high heaven. I grabbed my favorite scent, Pure Seduction, from my purse and doused myself in the red plum and sweet freesia combination. I looked to my left and right for any figure, but all I saw was the janitor locking up the backdoor. I jogged up the staircase and made my way back to my office.

HARRY'S POV:

I'll never get a chance to talk to her. She runs whenever I try to. I'll have to find some way to get her alone and talk to her. Four years did her well. Sure she looked a bit stressed, but she was even more beautiful, if that's possible. Those hazel eyes had me in a trance and her long black eyelashes framing them just made them even more bold and stand out. When the wind was whipping her hair, I just wanted to run my fingers through it and--

"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING BACK HERE? ARE YOU THE NEW DUMPSTER PICK UP BOY?!"

Where the hell did that shrill voice come from? I was busy day dreaming about a beauty and I guess the beast decided to show up in my imaginations. In front of me stood a tall, long legged, plastic surgery overloaded Barbie doll.

"No. I'm looking for Lila. Lila Marie."

"Well, she isn't here."

"You were just talking to her."

"Yeah I was. Why are you looking for her anyways when you could have me instead?" She gave me a sexy, well her attempt at sexy, look and sauntered nonexistent body towards me.

"Cmon, let's go back to my place. You and me."! She nibbled at the lobe of my ear and I pushed her away in disgust, even though I was slightly turned on.

"No thanks Bimbo Barbie. I have better options."

"Whatever. You're missing out." She tried walking sexily back to this building, but failed miserably in the process. I squinted my eyes towards the top of the building.

Smith Corporations.

I guess I'll be paying Lila a visit at work tomorrow.
