Something

We each came into this world for something.

To be something, to do something, to become something; you and I came into this world, not only to add onto the population, expand our family, make our loved ones happy, add our own little change to the world, but we came into this world to do something.

We each have been promised a future.

A future that we control, a future that we have the power to create, mend, and change. It is through this future of ours, this curtained window of curiousity, this unopened box of treasures, this faraway beacon of light, that we have yet to discover. And we will discover it through our own hands, with our own hard work.

We came into this world to do something.

Something, anything; we are here, in our little corner of some place in some city, in some state, in some country, in some area, yet under the same sky and on the same planet and in the same galaxy of burning and exploding stars we are here.

We are here.

Here we are, yet to do something. Something, anything; we have yet to uncover what and how and when, but we will do something. Something that will change the world for the definite better, because it will impact our future.

We can not do everything.

No matter how hard we may try, we can not do everything. We can not do all the good that we all hope to achieve, nor can we discover and learn all that we need to know. We can not do everything, nor will we do everything, but we will do something.

We will do something.

We will make something out of our lives; we will make something out of our bodies, something out of our minds, something out of our personalities. We will make something out of all that we are, because we are something.

We are something.

We are the future, and we are change; we are the differece between the two, we are the missing element in the equation that just won't work. We are the beautiful bodies of colors and chemicals and matter, and we are the personalities of faith and trust and knowledge. We are heads of question and minds of thought, we are the deepest of queries and the insignificant comments; we are the forgotten ones and we are the ones who have been left behind; we are the smiles of those who have been beatened and battered and broken and damaged, and we are the frowns of those who have put forth nothing but kindness and happiness into our lives.

We are everything.
