She sat in her office, finishing up a bit of paperwork before her meeting. She had decided to take the promotion test and passed it. Having been hovering at the First Class ranking for about two years. She was sure in her skill to rise to the rank of Special Investigator in a few years. For now, she would be an Associate Special class. What Kasuka was when she was killed.. she pondered, thinking of her old mentor. She had only known the woman for a few months before she was killed.

She knew that her sister was to blame. She didn't want to bring her to her senses anymore, no, she wanted her dead. Which she knew was bad for her to think, but Eto was far from help. She leaned back in her chair, feeling it lean back with her weight. She closed her eyes and let her mind take reign, deep inside her thoughts.

She didn't hear a knock on her door, nor see the door open or the man outside. She opened her eyes and saw him standing in front of her. She looked at the stack of the paperwork that had piled to her desk. She looked up at the man "Promotion paperwork?" He nodded and she sighed "My favorite." She picked up her pen and started to work on the pile.

"Your transfer was approved, too. You're now the newest member of the Arima Squad." He took off his overcoat to give to her as a gift for being transferred to the squad. "See if this fits you"

She stood and looked at it, stepping over to him and taking the overcoat. It was too big for her, of course. The man put his hands around her waist to see how much needs to go. He didn't notice the slight tint of her face. "You're gonna have to get one made. This one is dragging the ground on you," He looked the coat and woman over, then wrote down what needed to change.

She smiled "I think I could go out tonight, Arima. You wanted to" she grinned at him, watching his usually stoic face become a bit red and a smile break from his apathetic lips. She smiled to herself "We can just walk and if we get hungry, go and eat somewhere." She looked up at the man, waiting for approval. He nodded.

She packed up her things, ready for a night out with Arima. She smiled and got up, wondering what else she could learn about the man. She walked to the door and walked to the elevators. Pressing G and riding down. She stepped out the elevator and made her way home to get dressed for her outing. She smiled to herself and walked home.
