I stand in front of my mirror as I try and figure out whether or not I should stick with my current outfit. It consist of a tight black top that hangs a little low in the front with a crisscrossing pattern going across my semi-exposed back, a tight jean skirt on the bottom. I put my black Doc Martin's on my feet as well, not wanting to wear heels.

It has been a little bit over two week since I joined the team, and the guys seem to be warming up to me. Mark, the starting shooting guard, even offered me a drink from his water bottle the other day at practice when I ran out of water. He has always been nice, and I think that he finally decided not to worry about what the others thought if he was nice to me.

The team decided to throw a party to celebrate the season about to start, inviting all of the players as well as some of the cheerleaders. I know that I don't necessarily like cheerleaders due to the mean ones I have had to put up with in the past, but I do like parties. Besides, Yoongi said I had to make an appearance as his "girlfriend" anyway.

I do my normal makeup before adding a red lipgloss to my lips to finish my look, putting my hair into a high ponytail. The straight strands fall down my back and tickle my neck, my bangs hanging against my forehead. I am just putting my phone into my back pocket when there is a knock on the door of my room, my hand frozen halfway to my pocket. Is it Yoongi already?

"Hurry the fuck up or we're gunna be late."

-.- Yup.....its him

I open the door and look at his outfit, nodding my head slightly. I hate to admit it, but he looks really good. He is wearing black skinny jeans and a white, long sleeved turtleneck, a black beanie on his head. He looks me up and down before frowning, crossing his arms as he lounges against the doorframe.

"Are you seriously going to wear that?" he asks while pointing at my skirt. I look down and my hands play with the hem of the tight jean skirt, puzzled as to why he seems to dislike it.

"Yeah, why?"

"Isn't it a little too short?"

I can't help but smirk, putting a hand on my hip.

"Aniyo. Why? Afraid a guy will look at me and like what he sees?"

He scoffs while rolling his eyes, "Of course not. I just don't want people to think I'm dating a hooker."

I follow him to his car as I grumble to myself, glaring daggers into the back of his head. I don't look like a fucking hooker, and even if I did I would be fucking sexy as hell. That asshole better watch what he says or he will find out just how easily I can shove my shoe up his arrogant ass.

"Put your seatbelt on stupid. If we get pulled over, you will be paying the ticket."

"Ok ok, aish" I say as I buckle myself in, turning my body so that I am facing the window. He is being extremely rude tonight, even more so than usual. The car ride is silent, neither one of us speaking at all. I can hear Yoongi as he begins to drum his finger on the steering wheel, him obviously becoming anxious. I can feel his gaze on the side of my face as I continue to ignore him, him clearing his throat before he speaks.

"I.....you....what you did last weekend was cool."

My eyebrows shoot up as I turn a little bit so that I can clearly see his face, uncrossing my arms as I do so. He glances at me before looking away when he sees that I am looking at him, his cheeks turning pink.

"Last week?.....you mean the rap battle thing?" I ask, fully aware that that was what he was talking about. My smile widens when he clears his throat again out of nervousness, obviously not used to praising people.

"Y-Yeah. You were surprisingly good for a girl" he says while focusing on the road. I decide to ignore the last part and focus on the compliment, smirking to myself at how awkward he was when mentioning it. Why did he even bring it up in the first place?

Nonetheless, I say a quiet "Thanks" before turning back towards the window, unable to hide my wide smile. So it turns out that this cold, uncaring guy has a heart after all.
