A/N: Again, I'm sorry for skipping the game. I just really don't know how to write about it from a different position's perspective. I only got to learn the three, four, and five positions' plays.......ok, carry on
I sigh as I change out of my sweaty basketball uniform before taking a quick shower in the girl's locker room, the water echoing off of the silent room. I am, obviously, the only girl in here, that making me somewhat more comfortable taking a shower here than if there were others around me.
After I dry off with the towel that I keep in my locker I change into a pair of black high-waisted leggings and a long sleeved off-the-shoulder top with stripes on it, putting on the gold necklace that Hyung Seok gave me on my birthday last year. I run a brush through my hair, it slightly wavy from the humidity of the shower. The sliver ends actually look rather nice now that the color has fading a little bit, the stands obstructing my vision as I put my white shoes on.
The team always goes out to hang out after each game, it a bonding experience of sorts. I make my way out so that I can meet up with everyone, stopping in my place as I spot Hyung Seok leaning against the wall as he waits for me.
He doesn't say anything. All he does is walk towards me and pull me towards his chest in a hug, my arms automatically wrapping around his waist as his rest around my shoulders. He places a tender kiss on the top of my head before pulling away to look at my face, a slight frown pulling his lips down in the corners.
"You know its not your fault that your team lost, right?"
I roll my eyes at the memory of Carson's team beating ours by two points in double overtime just twenty minutes ago, my mood souring as I remember his gloating face.
"Yeah, I know" I say sadly, still not feeling good about my performance. Maybe if I had worked a little bit harder we would have won. I shake my head to clear my thoughts, smiling up at my boyfriend as convincingly as I can. "Now, lets go out with the rest of the guys so that I can get drunk and forget about today."
I watch as he sighs but nods, placing his hand on my lower back as we walk towards the guy's locker room. Everyone on the team knows that Hyung Seok is Yoongi's cousin, so they allow him to go to the after game parties sometimes. They don't know about Yoongi and I not really dating though, so Hyung Seok and I don't really talk to each other when we are around the other guys.
"Wait one sec" he says as his phone rings, reaching into his pocket to answer it. He smiles before putting it on speaker, holding it between the two of us as I look up at him in confusion.
"Hey mom" he says with a smile, my eyes widening when I realize who it is.
"Hi mom!" I yell excitedly, smiling when I hear her laugh over the line.
"Hey Bohemian, Seokie, how was the game?"
"We lost" I say with a pout, suddenly not so happy. Hyung Seok frowns down at me as his mom gushes about how awesome I must have been, and how the game must have been rigged.
"Anyway, you're on your way to the airport, right Seokie?" she asks, causing me to frown in confusion. Hyung Seok looks at me the same way as he scratches the back of his neck, chuckling nervously when his mom sighs into the silence.
"You ditzy child" she mumbles before clicking her tongue in annoyance. "You are supposed to pick your dad up from the airport in half and hour."
I watch in amusement as his eyes widen comically wide before he hangs up, stuffing his phone back into his back pocket.
"Are you going to be alright on your own?" he asks as he searches for his keys. I laugh before taking them out of his front pocket, handing them to him as he continues to panic.
"I'll be fine. Now hurry, before you get into any more trouble."
He kisses me on the cheek before sprinting out of the doors so that he can get to his car, leaving me in the hallway as I shake my head. I can't believe he forgot something so important. I don't know how he is going to get there on time seeing as the airport is an hour drive away from here.
I turn in my spot so that I can go over to where the guys are waiting, pulling my sports bag higher up on my arm. I guess one of the others can give me a ride there. Jimin said that he and Yoongi were getting a ride from Mark, so I can probably tag along as well.
I freeze before even taking a step though, my eyes wide as I gulp nervously. Why is it that every time I don't want to see Carson, he is right in front of me? I eye him cautiously as he leans against the opposite wall, a smirk on his face as he watches me.
"You're still with Hyung Seok?" he asks as he pushes himself off of the wall and begins to walk towards me, a teasing smirk on his face. I don't know why he said that as if it was an insult because Hyung Seok is more attractive than he will ever be.
"What's it to you?" I ask, not wanting him to know just how scared he makes me feel. I watch as he gets an impressed look on his face as I stand my ground, him still moving towards me.
"Look at you, finally getting a backbone" he says as he gets increasingly close to where I am standing. I back away from him until I can't anymore, jumping slightly when my back makes contact with the wall behind me. I shiver as he places both of his hands by my head, unable to do anything but stare at his chest in submission.
"This new attitude of yours is surprisingly cute, but lets see how long that lasts."
