"What do you need guys? I still need to finish this."

I concentrate on the writing assignment that we were given in class today, my hand moving fast as my mechanical pencil scribbles across the page. My slightly slanted handwriting is small on the paper, a stack of seven other pages below that one.

With all of the basketball going on I could forget all about school, but now that the season is almost over its getting harder to do so. Its not like the assignments have been hard or anything, all of this information things that I learned in either middle school or my Freshman year. I just hate doing things like this because it is boring, none of this work providing me with a challenge.

"Is that the paper for the assignment we got in class today?" Jimin asks as he pops up beside me, his chin resting on my shoulder as I sit hunched over. He grunts as I elbow him lightly in the stomach so that I can get some space, continuing my writing.

"Yes, Jimin" I say with a sigh, focusing on the last sentence of the paper. "I just finished it too."

"What the frick man? We literally got that in first period today and were told that we would have three weeks to write this. How are you done already?"

"Its not like it was that hard" I say with a shrug as I put my things away. "In college we would get papers like this almost ever week, so this is nothing."

"Show off" Jimin mumbles under his breath, causing me to stand up threateningly. He may be taller than me, but he knows not to mess with me. He flinches slightly before moving to stand behind Yoongi, my eyes rolling when he peeks his head out from behind his shoulder.

"Anyway" Yoongi says before trailing off, shrugging Jimin's hands away from his arms. "We were going to get something to eat and wanted you to come with us."

"But I don't wanna move" I say tiredly, flopping back down into my seat. Yoongi stares at me for what seems like a long time but was realistically only a couple of seconds before turning to look at Jimin.

"Jimin. Go get us food and then bring it back here."

"What the hell? But-"

I watch with a raised eyebrow as Yoongi whispers something in Jimin's ear before looking pointedly at him, it as if they were communicating with their eyes or some shit. I grow nervous when Jimin glances over at me before looking back at Yoongi, doing the same thing at least two more times before a smile spreads across his face.

"Ok. I'll be right back!" he yells, skipping over to me before giving me a hug. I'm still confused when he pulls away and skips out of the classroom, him humming a tune as he does so.

I glance over at Yoongi as the classroom becomes silent, my eyes widening when he was already look at me. I can't help but look away awkwardly as he starts coming over to where I am still sitting, my palms suddenly growing sweaty. I still don't understand why he seems to have this effect over me, my heart beating erratically in my chest when he sits down next to me.

"Mia......I have a question for you" he says softly, him helping me put my school stuff away. I hum to let him know that I heard him, not able to look at his face. I know that if I do I'll just freeze, unable to look away. He waits until I finish zipping up my backpack before continuing, his gaze still on the side of my face.

"You know you don't have to continue trying to prove yourself to that Carson guy......right?"

That's when I look up, unable to believe the words that came out of his mouth. I don't know what to say to that, my mouth parting yet no words coming out.

"You've been practicing so hard lately, but you don't have to. I know that you want to show him that you aren't what he said you were, but you shouldn't have to prove yourself to him. You are an amazing person, and he was stupid to think otherwise. The whole team believes in you Mia....."

"I believe in you" he whispers, his face suddenly much closer to mine than it was before.

My eyes seems to have traveled to his lips, my breathing getting ragged as I watch him lean forward. I should stop him right now; I know that. I should put some distance between us so that I don't betray Hyung Seok more than I already have. I just don't want to.

His lips are soft as they gently press against mine, it extremely different from when we were drunk. I find myself kissing him back, unable to stop myself. My heart flutters in my chest as his hand caresses the side of my face, his actions slow and soft. Its as if he actually cares about me, my head pounding at the tingles that seem to spread throughout my body.

"Shit" I curse as I pull away, standing from my seat as well. What am I doing? I'm dating someone else, yet kissing Yoongi. I feel terrible, my conscience making me rethink everything that just happened. I wanted to kiss him, but I'm still dating Hyung Seok. I kissed his fucking cousin.

I grab my bag and run. I ignore his calls as I sprint towards Hyung Seok's house, desperate for an answer. My emotions are running around in my head. Why would he kiss me when he knows that I'm with someone else? Why would he kiss me when he's trying to get his ex back anyway? I can't think straight as I run the surprisingly short distance to Hyung Seok's house, panting as I open his door without even knocking.

I run up the stairs and open his door, finding him laying down on his bed while reading. He sits up as soon as I come in, a slightly confused smile on his face as he takes in my panting form.

"Mia? What are you-"

I cut him off by placing my lips on top of his, my hands traveling up and into his soft hair. He seems shocked but kisses me back, his lips moving against mine as his hands make their way to my waist.

I can't help but feel wrong kissing him, finding myself pressing harder as to actually feel something. I can't seem to get Yoongi out of my head. I can still taste the slightly minty flavor as his tongue had lightly brushed against mine. I can still feel his hands as they had held onto both sides of my face. I can't seem to forget the way my stomach had flipped as he had pulled me closer to his body, his calming scent filling me with nothing but warmth.

I pull away from Hyung Seok and rest my forehead against his, breathing deeply as I clench my eyes shut. I really wanted to feel something with him. He has been there for me for so long that I found myself wanting to cling onto him, not knowing who else I would turn to. I desperately wanted his kiss to fill me with the same butterflies as Yoongi's did.

But it didn't.
