The ball feels rough in my hand, my short fingernails tingling from the vibrations as I dribble the ball. My hair, which I put up in a high ponytail, is starting to annoy me as it hits the back of my neck while I run down the court. I cross over one of the guys on the opposite team as I look for Yoongi, wanting our point guard to get the ball back into his possession.

I see him a little ways away from me and jump stop so that I don't get called out for a travel, sending him the ball in a bounce pass. I jog after him as he makes his way towards our basket, watching him as he gets progressively faster as he gets closer to the hoop.

The team we are playing is undoubtably good, but we are obviously better. The school that they came from is known for having the most lenient coaches when it comes to practicing, and you can tell by the way that they are playing. They have only won one game so far this season, while we are still undefeated after three tournaments and five games. I can tell from their faces that they are getting tired of being scored on, their expressions turning from happy and carefree to somber as well as annoyed.

Yoongi passes the ball to one of our teammates and he scores easily, gaining us another two points because of our fast break. I hold my hand out as I backpedal towards the other side of the court, high-fiving Yoongi as he passes by. I still find him frustrating at times, but there is no denying that Yoongi and I make a great team. I look over at him to ask him if we are going to go to man or diamond defense when I stop moving, my eyes wide as I stare over at him in shock.

Its like its happening in slow motion, everything around me freezing in time as I watch him. One of the members from the other team runs up to him before purposefully bumping into him from behind, causing Yoongi to lose his balance. He was not expecting this since he was running backwards to watch the ball, his ankle twisting as he falls to the ground. I can see the pain on his face as he registers what just happened, his hand moving down towards his ankle as he holds it.

"Yoongi!" I yell as I run forward, the sound of the ref's whistle blowing sounding in my ears. I get to where he and the guy who tripped him are before my eyes harden in anger, turning towards the guy with the smug look on his face.

"You fucking did that on purpose!" I can't help but yell, getting in his face. I glare up at him as he scowls back down at me, my hands clenched by my sides.

He scoffs, "so what if I did? What are you gunna do about it bitch?"

"You fucking--!"

I can feel myself as I get dragged backwards by my uniform, my basketball shoes scuffing again the court and making an annoyingly high pitched squeaking sound. I look behind me as Mingyu holds me back, his face in a frown as he glares at the jerk as well.

"Don't fight, you'll just get taken out of the rest of the game Bohemian."

I sigh before nodding in submission, glaring at the guy as I walk past him and over to where the rest of our team is. We all huddle around our coach as he looks at his whiteboard in distress, my eyes moving over to look at Yoongi as he gets placed in one of the chairs.

"Do you think you can play?" coach asks as he looks at Yoongi with concern shining clearly in his eyes. Yoongi nods his head but everyone can tell that he is in pain, it clear that he is going to have to sit out for the rest of the game. My eyes widen when coach looks at me while he points at me with his dry erase marker, them crossing slightly due to how close to my nose it was.

"I'm putting Josh in as shooting guard. Bohemian, you're going in as point guard."

"I'm what?" I ask flabbergasted, my eyes almost to the point of falling out of my head. I have practiced in that position a little bit, but I have never been put in it in an actual game. The encouraging words from my teammates is lost to my ears as I space out, suddenly growing nervous.

"You'll do fine, stupid. You're the best point guard we have anyway."

Everyone stops talking to look over at Yoongi in shock. He seems to be surprised as well, his eyes wide as he stares at me. He clears his throat before looking back down again, his cheeks tinged with pink as he stumbles over his words.

"I-I-I mean, after m-me of course........"

I can't help the small smile that comes onto my face as he turns away from our staring eyes and goes back to icing his leg, finding myself feeling more confident than before. If Yoongi thinks that I can do it, then I just might be able to.

A/N: I skipped a lot of the actually game because I was a post all ten years I played basketball, (#tallpeopleproblems), so I don't know a lot about the other positions.......so.......yeah.......
