Ch 22

"What did you say?!" Taehyung stood up and faced Jimin finally.

"You're doing a shit job at making her happy and I am definitely not letting Jinyoung take her!" Jimin yanked his arm away from Jungkook's grip and stood up closer to Taehyung.

"Don't do this Jiminssi....Im warning you now" Taehyung says through his gritted teeth.

"Why not huh?! You'd prefer Jinyoung to take her? Someone who controlled her, beat her, emotionally and physically?!" Jimin spat back at him.

"Yes! I'd prefer him rather than MY best friend!!" Taehyung's eyes flared with anger and Jimin just scoffed as a response.

"Best friend?! You lost me the second to you hurt y/n so think about this carefully tae..... not only did you lose the love of your life but your childhood best friend too....all for what?...because of Minah?! Because you're being a coward?!"

With those last words Jimin left Taehyung in a gaze confused wanting him to finally realise what he has been doing. How he's being such a coward because he's afraid that y/n would look at him differently.

Jimin pov

I got in the car with a slight smile on my face. My plan is finally falling into place.

I am doing the right thing....right..? What if Taehyung does let me have her .... then he really doesn't deserve her....Don't be stupid Tae... don't lose the one thing in your life that finally gave you purpose. Don't lose the one thing that changed you for the better...brought you back to what you once were....

I took my phone out and dialled y/n number. She didn't answer the first time but she finally did.

"Hey Jimin" Her soft voice rang through my ears...she almost...doesn't sound...broken anymore...is Jinyoung succeeding?

"Hey! What are you doing right now?" I asked.

"Im busy" she cut her answers shorter than before, I waited a while for her to explain what she was doing but there was only silence. Usually she'd talk more...okay maybe Jinyoung isn't....hah.

"Im coming to get you!"

"No thanks"

"Waaahhhh! Y/N!...."

"What?"

"That was the most enthusiastic answer ever!" I say sarcastically.

"How did you want me to sound like? Excited that Im rejecting your offer? Isn't that kind of cold?!"

"Yeahhhh never mind....you're right!" I couldn't help feeling a little embarrassed. "Im still getting you by the way! Im outside your apartment actually!" I suddenly her gasp in shock and her shuffling around probably rushing to go to the window.

"LIAR! I don't see your car!" She quickly answers back.

"Go out your door! And walk out a bit and you'll see me!" I smiled as I heard her shuffling even more probably putting on her shoes and going out the door.

"I still don't see you! You're not really here are you?!"

"Walk out a bit more!!" To be honest Im not really there yet..I just wanted her out of the house when I get there so I don't have to drag her out.

"Jimin you're lying! I don't see your car whatsoever!"

"Wave your hand!" I can see her standing at the end of the street and I quickly pulled up in front of her. "Get in!" I rolled down the window and told her.

"No! I said I wasn't going anywhere!" She responded still stubborn.

"You're already out! Just get in!"

"Because....uh...." she she is confused as to why she went out.

"Because curiosity right? Now get in!!" I smiled knowing that my plan on getting her out worked.

"Ugh fine!" She opened the car door and sat in. "Where are we going?"

"How are you?" I completely ignored her question on purpose.

"Im fine" she looks down on her lap and I already knew that she was definitely lying. She's always been a terrible liar. I reached to hold her hand and she quickly looks up to me in confusion but I kept my eyes on the road.

"I need to...uhm...confess something..."
