Chapter 12: A day at the Water Park

(Hiba's POV)

*Beep beep, beep beep, beep beep*

What time is it?

I pawed across my bed in search for my mobile phone. After snoozing the alarm, I brought it to my face to check the time. The sudden exposure of light made me squint.

It's 10?! Oh well, it's a Sunday morning so that's perfectly fine.

Wait, I got a text just now. Eh, I'll see it later.

I rubbed my eyes before opening them and had a good stretch to feel mobile again, followed by a yawn. Slightly irritated by why my 10 hours of sleep felt more like a few hours nap, I gathered enough courage to stand up and dragged my feet across the floor to the bathroom.

While brushing my teeth, I observed my reflection.

Messy morning hair, swollen eyes and puffy lips. Typical morning look.

After brushing, I took off my clothes and stood under the shower. The hot water hit my skin, draining all the piling stress of routine life as it drips down. A long relaxing shower was all I needed to feel fresh. I came out and heard my phone light up. Picking it up, I saw the phone say "2 new text messages from Kim Suho".

Oh shit... What date is it?

"Morning Hiba. Hope you're awake. :D"

"Just wanted to remind you. I'll pick you up at 11:30 :)"

I hastily looked at the calender.

It's Sunday, 25th of February. Oh God, how could I forget?! I had to go to the park with Suho today! Wait... it's... 10:30 right now?! Oh no, I HAD TO BE READY BY 11:30!! I HAVE TO BE READY BY 11:30!!!!! RUNNNN!

I sprinted across the room to my dresser, my phone flying to the edge of the bed.

Oh wait, reply him first.

I face palmed myself and rushed back to reply him.

"Morning Suho. Yup I'm awake. See you at 11.30 :)"

Hiba, you need to get ready. You barely have an hour! Oh God, I didn't even pick what outfit to wear. Aishhhhh!!!

Opening my closet, my eyes glanced at every piece of cloth.

What to wear, what to wear, what to wear... Something of a light colour. Something simple. Something like...

My eyes spotted a white T-shirt and light green shorts. I took them out and placed them on the bed.

This!! This will go nicely with my blue and white polka dot sneakers and blue bag. Oh wait... I need two outfits. I'll wear one right now and the other when I reach there because it will get wet. Now for the other one.
