Chapter 13: "Now, I can't take it anymore."

(Hiba's POV)

Wait… why is everyone looking like a couple around here. I looked behind me to find a young girl giggling with a young boy and a fairly older couple staring at each other while holding hands. There were so many of them. My eyes spotted the big board that said "Couple Footbath :)"

Oh no…. COUPLE FOOTBATH??!?!?!!

I read the description below the board: "A special place for couples of all ages to spend quality time together and bond. Have kids? No problem! Drop them off at our safe and completely supervised Kids' Pool area"

Shittt… This is the couple's footbath. I feel so weird being here. No wonder Suho was nervous about asking me to come here. Wait… If Suho knew this was a couple footbath, why did he want to come here… with me?!?!

"Uh- Suho ah?"

"Ah ney Hiba."

"Is this… This is the couple's footbath!!"

"N-ney!" He scratched the back of his head nervously.

Woah woah woah, he knew? HE KNEW! Why did he want to bring me here? I'm so confused right now? Does he… were Chanyeol and Mishal's assumptions correct?

"Uh I just wanted a- I thought you knew Hiba!" He looked at me with concerned eyes.

"I-I didn't."

"If you're uncomfor-"

"It's ok Suho-ah!" I interrupted him and comforted him with a slight pat on the back. He searched my face for comfort and found it when I sent him a soft smile.

It's alright. It just caught me off guard, like… I'm really awkward in such places. But it's fine. I'm sure he just wanted a foot massage that's why he wanted to come here. Ugh, why is it so crowded in here?

We were walking through the narrow passage and I was getting squished in the huge suffocating crowd. Suho held my hand so that I won't get lost but it didn't help. A lady was pacing through the crowd and bumped into me. That's when I lost Suho's hand.

"Suho-ah!"

"Hiba, wait I'm coming!"

Uh, why this crowd?

Suho came from the front and quickly snaked his arm around my waist and held me close to him. So quick, I couldn't protest. But I stayed close, to avoid getting lost again.

Heart, do you ever get tired of beating so fast? This is like the 100th time!

"It's not your fault Suho." I tried to comfort him.

Suho sat on the bench with his feet immersed in water and motioned me to sit next to him. I followed his gesture.

I dipped my toes in the water to check the temperature.

It's warm.

I put my feet in the hot water and let the soothing feeling take over. Suho was watching me, looking for an answer.

"It's nice and relaxing." I smiled at him and he returned the smile.

"Personally, I like fish massages more." Suho spoke after a couple of minutes.
