Chapter 32: "No more secrets, no more nothing."

So the last one was quite a bit of a cliffhanger. Here's some more of that. From here, all the previous chapters will start making sense. Also, some angst is involved here. (Hiba’s POV)

“DID YOU THINK I WOULD NEVER FIND OUT?” She roared, loud and clear.

“What are you talking about, Mishal? What’s going on?”

“What’s going on? What’s going on, you ask? What’s going on is that I found out what you did behind my back; you liar and cheater!!” Her rudeness was starting to tick me off. If she slapped me in front of everyone, she should at least have the audacity of telling me why.

What on earth is she talking about? She has clearly lost her mind!

“Can we talk somewhere private? I was still trying to me nice.

“Why do you get any consideration? You have shown none to me!”

“WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! What did I do behind your back? Do you mind telling me that? My voice rose.

“Oh, now I have to remind you what you did.” I couldn’t believe that I had to face the Sass Queen. So I decided I would fight fire with fire. This was the only way to go with Mishal; it always has been.

“If you have the courage to publically humiliate me, at least have the audacity to explain why.”

“Okay so, where do I start? Oh yeah, so you started off with sharing my secret with Chanyeol about my crush on him, then you made out with him AND slept with him. After that, you confronted me pretending none of that had happened, gained my sympathies with what happened with Baekhyun and now you’re asking me what you did.”

Mishal wasn’t making a lick of sense.

Arguments with Mishal were rare. In fact, Chanyeol and I would end up arguing and bickering a lot and it was always Mishal who would stop us. It was hard for anyone to ever argue with Mishal, one because she isn’t wrong often and second, because she’s really good at it.

“What on Earth are you talking about? I DID NONE OF THOSE! ARE YOU MAD?”

“Damn right you are; I’m madly furious!”

“Wait, what happened with Baekhyun?” Great! Chanyeol decided to bud in to the argument at the wrong time.

“Not now, Chanyeol.”

“Tell me.” He spoke with persistence.

“Tell him, Hiba. No more secrets, no more nothing.” Mishal is playing the ‘best friends’ card.

“Hiba, tell me.” He uttered each word through gritted teeth. I stayed quiet. I had nothing else to say or do. It was evident; everything was evident by this point. I didn’t need to say anything to tell Mishal or Chanyeol about what was going on.

“I’m not gonna do you dirty the way you did me so, c’mon Hiba.”

If only she realized that I didn’t do anything!

“Hiba, answer me!” Chanyeol was growing impatient and angry by every minute that passed by without an answer.

“What do you think the situation is, Chanyeol?” Mishal spat at him. He was quiet for a moment, until he whispered softly in disbelief, “Do you… like Baekhyun?”
