(Hiba’s POV)

I got out of bed and dragged my feet across the room to the door downstairs. The clock showed 11 am.

So it’s not so early.

I opened the door and before I could clearly see who it was, someone pushed me until I fell on my back on the floor.

What on earth is this?

“What the-“

“Mishal, can you like stop pushing me? You’re so annoying!”

“Ya Yeol, I didn’t even push you. What are you talking about?” Mishal harshly pushed Chanyeol inside.

“You pushed me right now. Like just now. Oh my God, you’re such a liar.” He shouted at Mishal and pointed towards her in disgust.

“Shut up Yeol! Don’t get me started on you.”

“GUYS! CAN YOU LIKE SHUT THE HELL UP FOR ONCE!” I jolted up from the floor and yelled at my best friends.

“Honestly, stop acting like a couple of toddlers!” However, my temper was calmed down upon seeing a pouty Yeol and a surprised Mishal.

Maybe I shouldn’t have been so hard on them. They are my best friends anyways. Nah, they should know. They signed up for this. I’m sorry but I’m just really grumpy whenever I wake up.

“Wow. Didn’t know you had it in you?” Mishal commented.

“Hibuuuu don’t do that. You scared me!” Yeol continued to pout.

“Then please act a little mature. Or at least don’t be so loud. My Dad is still sleeping.”

“Where was this rage on Friday?” Mishal asked rather mischievously.

What? Why is she bringing this up???

“Ya, Mishal!” I eyed her.

“What Friday? What happened on Friday?” Yeol asked us in confusion.

“Why don’t you ask Hiba?!” Mishal said in between coughs.

MISSHAAAALLLL! Shit, I forgot to tell Yeol about it. What’s the use? He’s just gonna go into overprotective brother mode.

“Hibu, what happened on Friday? And why don’t I know about it? Why do you both know only?”

“It’s nothing Yeol. Taeyeon and I had a small misunderstanding.”

“That’s not it. I may look like a dork but I’m not one. You can’t lie to me!”

“Yeol, okay just don’t freak out. Taeyeon and I had a fight but it was cool. Nothing happened. And Mishal here saved the day.” I pointed to a smirking Mishal.

“OH MY GOD! Why did she fight with you? Was it about Byun Baekhyun? Yes, it was. Of course it was. That’s the only thing she’d fight about with you because you’re the only friend he has. For goodness sake Hiba, I told you to stay away from that guy. I knew he would get you in trouble. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. I’m gonna fix that guy. Who the hell does he think he is trying to get my fr-“

“Yeol, calm down, calm down maan!” Mishal held Yeol’s shoulders to keep him still.

Yeol and his possessiveness, I SWEAR! I appreciate how concerned he is about me but I’m a grown up now and I can manage stuff myself. Like yes, I mean I also appreciate how Mishal handled that situation but Yeol is so dramatic. I just don’t like being treated as a small clumsy kid.
