A week passed, and Tom didn't so much. He always had meetings when I wanted to talk to him, which wasn't very often. I just really wanted to get information on my mother.

I spent time with Anthony and the rest of the cast and my family. We had so much fun as we acted.

But, I couldn't get Tom out of my head.

I called him after 2 days of not hearing from him. But, no answer.

I left a voicemail saying, " Hey, it's Emma. I just wanted to know when you get out of your meetings and when we can meet up again. So, yeah, bye, "

I sighed as I sat down on my bed after a two show day. But, I sat up when I heard a knock at my door.

" Come in, " I say, turning off my phone, and focusing my attention to my mother.

" Hey, Emma, " Mom said, coming into my room, with a smile that didn't look real.

I wave hi before asking, " What's up, Mom?"

" I just had a question for you, " Mom asked as she held an envelope in her hands. She sat down on the bed and sighed.

" Yeah?" I prompt.

" Have you spoken to Tom any time in the past couple days?" Mom says, softly.

" No, why?" I ask, confused.

Mom didn't reply. She just handed me the envelope and smiled, sadly. She looked at the envelope once more and then, walked out of the room.

I looked down at the envelope at without realizing it, stared at the thing that would ruin my life.
