A week passed, and Tom didn't so much. He always had meetings when I wanted to talk to him, which wasn't very often. I just really wanted to get information on my mother.I spent time with Anthony and the rest of the cast and my family. We had so much fun as we acted.
But, I couldn't get Tom out of my head.
I called him after 2 days of not hearing from him. But, no answer.
I left a voicemail saying, " Hey, it's Emma. I just wanted to know when you get out of your meetings and when we can meet up again. So, yeah, bye, "
I sighed as I sat down on my bed after a two show day. But, I sat up when I heard a knock at my door.
" Come in, " I say, turning off my phone, and focusing my attention to my mother.
" Hey, Emma, " Mom said, coming into my room, with a smile that didn't look real.
I wave hi before asking, " What's up, Mom?"
" I just had a question for you, " Mom asked as she held an envelope in her hands. She sat down on the bed and sighed.
" Yeah?" I prompt.
" Have you spoken to Tom any time in the past couple days?" Mom says, softly.
" No, why?" I ask, confused.
Mom didn't reply. She just handed me the envelope and smiled, sadly. She looked at the envelope once more and then, walked out of the room.
I looked down at the envelope at without realizing it, stared at the thing that would ruin my life.
