Chapter 10: Act Like a Lady💃🏻, Think Like a Man🕴🏻

Emily's POV
In this moment Emily knew exactly what she had to do.
She didn't cry, she didn't get upset, she knew she had to play the part to win the game and she had to play it Ali style. Alison may be the a very dominate and demanding person, but she's still just a girl. She wants love and wants to be loved but doesn't want to feel vulnerable.

Alison has a soft spot for me and she wouldn't keep kissing me if there wasn't a small part of her that was attracted to me.. Alison is used to me falling at her feet and begging her forgiveness.
Now it's Ali's turn to beg.

Emily decides to keep her plan towards Ali to herself but goes back downstairs to Hanna and tells her what Paige called and revealed to her.
Hanna let's out a sigh of relief.

Hanna - Ugh, Thank God.
Not about the letter, but the fact that Paige told you and I didn't have to. Alison already told me last night that's what she did & what they were saying to each other on the phone.

Emily - You were going to tell me eventually though right?

Hanna - Yeah, of course. I was just scared. Are you going to bring it up to Ali though? She told me that if I told you, she'd tell the whole school I was a cradle robber.

Emily - A what? And no not yet...
I've got a better idea in mind.

Hanna - Nevermind. Wait, So if Ali wrote the letter to Paige first, aren't you wondering what Paige wrote back?

Emily - Now that you mentioned it, yeah I am...But I'm not so worried about that as much as I'm worried about Spencer.

Hanna - Worried why?

CALL FROM - ARIA

Hanna - Aria left already? I thought she was still here..

Alison walks in the kitchen and grabs a banana from the fridge to casually listen in on their conversation.

Alison - She ran out of here to go on some date..With her Dad.

*Emily puts Aria on speaker*

Aria - Is there some cellular dead-zone that you can know about at Ali's house?

Hanna - What do you mean?

Aria - Well, I've texted you both like 5 times.
Where's Spencer?

Emily - She left. About an hour ago.

Aria - Well we need to find her and talk to her. Right now.

Hanna - Now you guys are freaking me out. What's going on?

Aria - Well, I think we all know that Spencer's been a little... extra-intense lately. And I'd just chalked it up to stress, but she's not just stressed...

Alison - Yeah, she's strung out.

Alison hisses as she walks back into the guest room and slams the door.
Emily rolls her eyes at Ali's lack of sympathy.

Aria - You guys, Spencer has a serious problem! all right, and this isn't the first time that has happened. Two years ago it was enough of an issue that her parents had to ask the school for help.

Hanna - Are you sure, how do you know?

Aria - Ezr...I mean, Mr. Fitz told me that about a week ago, Spencer had fallen asleep in his class overnight and she was a mess and all over the place.

Emily - Yeah Han, its true.
Me and Ali both saw the bottle of Adderall half empty in Spencer's purse. She say they help her stay awake to study.

Hanna - We need to have a meeting with her. Asap.

Aria - I gotta go. We will figure out the details later on how to get Spencer in one place to talk to her.
Hey are you guys going to Noel's party tonight?

Emily - Nah I gott....

Emily thinks about it, and it would be the perfect opportunity to put her plan in action towards Ali.
She decides it's time to turn the tables.

Emily - Actually, Yeah. I forgot my schedule is completely open. I'll be there.

Aria - Great. Hanna you coming too? I'm sure Ali has already heard about it and is coming.
You okay with that Emily? I know she's probably still upset with us about the whole journal thing..

Emily - Yup, The more the merrier.
She'll get over it. Count me in.

Hanna - Me too. I'll tag along..
as long as there's food. Free food.

Aria hangs up.
Hanna and Emily decide to go home and freshen up for the party later on. Hanna knocks on the door Ali's been in to ask if she's going to the party too.

Hanna - Ali, Noel's having a party tonight.
Are you coming?

Alison - Yeah.. I'll be there. Starts at 10 right?

Hanna - Yeah. Me and Emily are going to my house then hers.. so we will see you there?

Ali's a little taken back about Emily going to a party. She usually hates being around a bunch of drunk sweaty bodies and raging teenage hormones.

Alison - Emily's going? That's different.
But Yeah. I'll meet you guys there.

Hanna - We will see ourselves out then. Bye!

Emily doesn't speak to Alison before she leaves, she doesn't give her usual goodbye hug or long thought out apology.
It's a little uncomfortable for Emily, but it's all part of the plan.
Things are about to go a little different around here..
And Alison has no idea what is coming to her.
