Asher
"You have until this Wednesday." The video cut out. It took every ounce of my self control to not snap the phone in half, for this was our only communication I have with Reece at the moment.
With stiff, rigid fingers, I texted a response back to them.
You're dead when I find you. Every last one of you. I hit Send and the screen cracked a little from my force.
"I need to go." I growled through clenched teeth. I shoved the phone at someone and ran from Reece's apartment and shifted mid stride. My wolf instantly took over and ran. He was beyond enraged. They touched our mate! They better not have touched her with their appendages, or I will personally rip them off and feed it to them on a silver platter! Those Rogues are dead when I find them!
I broke through the forest we had some how ended up in and my wolf let out a long, piercing howl, warning all Rogues that might be in the area to stay out of our way.
"We kill them..." My wolf was saying. "We kill them all! Leave no survivors! They're all dead meat!"
"But they could easily kill her if we go there alone!"
"We're fast! We can stop them!"
"How?! We don't even know how many are there!"
"We bring the pack!"
"They'll sniff us out!" My wolf started to pace, thinking that bit of information out.
"Got it. We'll do like they do in the hunting videos. To mask our scent, we dowse ourselves in our own urine."
"That may just work. I'll talk to Alpha Nyl and see if we can get our strongest men and leave the women and children at the pack house with guards. This will work... This will work!"
"Where would you be without me?" he asked smugly. I chose not to answer as he stuck his nose to the ground and began sniffing for any kind of trail that could lead us to Reece.
Huge black thunder heads rolled in and soon dowsed the entire city in huge, fat drops of rain, the kind of rain you would need to put out a forest fire. With the rain, the clean smell washed away all chances of finding a lead. My wolf tilted his head back and growled and cursed at the sky.
"Carmon! Carmon, chill out! It's not going to stop for you!" I tried to reason with him. He gave up after a few more minutes and flopped onto the ground, the freezing rain pelting us. He didn't care. He let me have control and I just laid there, not having the energy to stand back up.
My mind wandered to Reece. Is she alright? What are those Rogues doing to her? Do they think this is some kind of joke?! They are messing with one of the strongest packs in this region. We have alliances with three other major packs in this region. Do they really think they'll stand back and let my pack fight without coming to help us? This clearing is shared amongst us four packs. This is sacred ground for us. This is where the Alphas have their meetings and the packs stand guard.
I closed my eyes and sighed heavily, my mind wandering back to Reece. I wish she would just accept me as her mate already... This would make finding her so much easier... With mates, they are able to pick up their mate's location as long as the Connection is strong between the two. Right now, the Connection is only one sided, which isn't helping at all.
When I get Reece back and we've had the chance to calm down, I'm telling her everything.
"Asher."

Love Me Not? (I)
Werewolf"Asshole! How many times do I have to tell you?! I am not going to fall for the cliché bad boy just because you supposedly love me! I don't want to be with you!" I shouted at Asher, my anger boiling over. "But, Reece..." He said my name as if he was...
