Reylo One Shots

Memory (Part I)

"Now?" I ask.

"Yes. We need to go now." Luke says. We run to the Millennium with Chewy and one of the porgs because why not?

We get in the control room, I sit down in the pilot's seat. I flip a switch and press a couple of buttons and the ship lifts off the ground and flies away.

We land at the base five minutes later because of the light speed. Luke, Chewy, the porg and I exit the Millennium and we're greeted by Leia.

"You will never believe this." She says as we walk. We get to a room and she opens the door. There's a man, his back is toward us. He has black, silky, long hair that comes down to his shoulders.

"Ben." Leia says to get his attention.

He turns around. I gasp in surprise. Kylo Ren, my greatest enemy. He furrows his eyebrows and walks over, not taking his eyes off of me. "Do I know you?"

I raise my eyebrows and look at Leia. The look that she has on her face suggests that something's wrong with this situation. I have to agree.

I look back at Kylo. "Um, is this a joke?"

Leia grabs the door nob and closes it before he can answer and locks it. She faces me and Luke. "I should've told you something before."

"Tell us what?" I ask.

"Come with me."

Luke and I look at eachother confused and start to follow her.

We stop at the food court. Leia leads us to a table where no one is around us. She gestures us to sit down. We pull out our chairs and sit down. "You guys must be hungry."

Luke shakes his head. "I'm fine."

Me on the other hand... "I'm starving. Something to eat would be great."

She smiles and walks away to get some food. I sigh. I put my elbows on the table and lean my head against my hands. Why didn't he know who I was? Is it a joke? What if he really doesn't remember me? I think anyone would remember the person who left a huge scar on their face.

Five minutes later, Leia comes back with the food. She lays it on the table and I grab it immediately. I'm very hungry. The last time I ate was yesterday morning. I've been so caught up in training, that I forget to eat sometimes. I'm just glad to see food in front of me. I start devoring my food. Luke looks at me and rolls his eyes then looks at Leia. "So what did you want to tell us?"

"Oh, right. So you might be wondering how he got here. Well, the truth is... I don't know. No one does. He showed up in a pod asleep, so we took him and put him in one of the hospital beds. When he woke up he didn't remember anything. It was like he never turned to the dark side in the first place. It turns out the only thing he remembers is that he was in a spacecraft flying away from the jedi temple... which happened six years ago. Then he fell asleep and when he woke up, he was here. He doesn't know that he was a... you know and I would like to keep it that way."

"How do you know he's not lying?" I blurt out.

"I don't. But the weird thing is that he didn't recognize Finn or Poe, he doesn't seem to remember anything after he turned, but then how did he recognize you?"

I stare at her in disbelief. She continues to speak, "I don't know what this means, either you left a huge mark on him that what ever the first order did to him, that wasn't enough for him to forget you, or he saw you before he turned. Maybe even both."

"Leia, you actually believe him? He killed Han, your husband. I wouldn't trust him at all."

"Rey, he might not even remember that."
