"Wait, what? Snoke's dead?" Finn asks as we sit in the Falcon. I nod my head. He almost blurts it out in front of everybody. "Shhhhhhhh!" I shush him before he does. He stops himself. He looks at me confused. "We can't tell everyone now." I say.

"What? Why not?"

"Um, I can't really tell you. Just don't."

He glares at me.

"Please?" I persist.

He rolls his eyes. "Fine. But we will tell them eventually, right?"

"Yes. I just need everything to get back to normal first."

"Alright, Rey. I hope you're right."

"I am." I get up from the seat and go to the control room and sit in the pilot's seat. Nobody else can know that Snoke's dead. No one can know that Kylo Ren killed him. No one can know that Kylo is the new Supreme Leader. No one can know that I failed.

It's been a week since I last saw Kylo Ren. The memory of him looking up at me on his knees with total desperation on his face is stuck in my head and it won't seem to get out. I look up and see golden dice hanging from the top of the window, swinging back and forth as the ship moves. I reach up and grab them. There's a golden chain connecting the two. This was probably Han's. I wonder how long he had these dice for? They were probably for luck. I put the dice in my little pouch connected to my belt. I sigh and sit more into the pilot's seat. We've been searching for a new base for the last week and still haven't found one. I just hope it's soon. I don't know how much longer I can stand staying on this ship without any privacy.

The next day we land on a planet called Riosa. It's located in the Inner Rim. It's a very green planet with lots of fields and mountain in the distance. The population isn't that high either. Maybe 2 million on the whole planet. Everybody walks out of the Falcon. I look at they sky. It's a bit cloudy and there's a slight chilly breeze but nothing too drastic. We're greeted by one of our allies that heard about our escape and felt bad that they did nothing when they heard our cry for help. As an apology, they've offered us a new base. It's the biggest one we've had or at least that's what people who've been with the Resistance longer than I have say. It even has bunkers for us. Everyone gets their own room.

As we walk to the base, I notice that's it's on top of a huge hill with a great view of the mountains in the distance that have snow on each tip. When we walk into the building, we're given a tour of the place. It's so big, I know I will at least get lost twenty times in the next few days. They guide us to the bunker hallway which is a hallway with doors on each side that leads to our rooms. Then we get to choose our rooms. Everybody starts running to get a good room and by the time I get to choose, there's only one left. The very last one at the end of the hall. I walk into the room. It's small but not for one person. It even has its own bathroom. The bed sits in the middle of the room, against the wall. To the right of it sits a dresser with three drawers and a mirror above it. To the left is a desk. I have to say, it's quite cozy for a bunker. I sit down on the bed. Not that comfortable, but comfortable enough to sleep on. I get up and grab my bag which has all my clothing in it. I open the dresser and start to put my clothes inside. By the time I'm finished, I've only filled up one drawer. I don't have a lot of clothes. I start to get up and turn around. When I fully turn around, I gasp and look for any sort of weapon. "You can't hurt me. Not like this." Says the voice I least want to hear. I look up at the man towering over me with the scar I left on him for what seems forever ago, even though it has only been about two weeks. I ignore him. I turn around and continue to put my stuff away in the base and wait for this bond to pass like they always do. But this time it doesn't. I turn back around at the realization that this isn't happening by nature. "You. You're doing this. You're connecting us, aren't you?" I say taking a step towards him.

"We need to talk."

"I have nothing to say to you."

"Well, I have something to say to you."

"What could possibly make me care for what you have to say?"

He pauses. "Snoke's alive." My face immediately goes from angry to shocked and afraid. "What?" I say in disbelief, "but you... we..." I sit on my bed taking it in.

"What I killed was not him. It was just a hologram. A really good hologram. He knows what I've done and he's come after me."

"Look, Kylo. He's not my problem, he's yours."

He rolls his eyes in annoyance. "And once he kills me, who do you think he'll be after next?"

"The Resistance..." I say to myself quietly, "We don't even have enough fighters to fight back or even defend ourselves. Not yet anyway."

"I wasn't talking about the Resistance. I was talking about you."

"What?"

"You're the reason I killed him, Rey. So to him, you're to blame for what I've done."

That first sentence caught me off guard. "I was the reason you killed him?"

He chooses to ignore my question and continues with more persistence. "Rey, I need you. Together we can defeat Snoke once and for all."

"We already tried that and besides, I don't even know if you're telling the truth."

"Trust me, Rey."

I pause and look down at the ground. "I did trust you. Once." I look at him with disappointment, "I don't think I can again."

I blink and he's gone. I stare at the wall in disbelief. I saw Kylo Ren puncture Snoke right through his body and then cut in half. That was some hologram. I come back to reality. I need to tell Finn that Snoke's still alive right after I just told him he's dead. Great.
