At first, the room within was so dim that she couldn't tell what was going on inside. She felt Bonnie behind her, looking over her shoulder. He reached around her and pushed the door gently open.

It swung open softly and she was hit with the smell of... frosting. It was sharp and sweet, with undertones of pizza and smoke. She squinted into the darkness and heard a little noise deep within, like... footsteps, she thought. But they were warped and echoey in the wide-open space.

They both stepped over the threshold and the door swung slowly shut on its hinges, clicking loudly. She jumped, ever so slightly, creeped out by the whole surreal experience.

Light seeped suddenly into the room, warm and golden, and she blinked her eyes against it. She was quick to get used to it, it was just bright enough to show them what was happening in the shadows beyond. Oddly, she couldn't locate the light source, but she found it hard to worry about that.

Suddenly she knew exactly what Bonnie had tried to keep her from seeing.

She gasped in fear and took a step back, bumping into him. He wrapped his arm around her and guided her gently behind him, away from a scene that she wished she hadn't seen. She trembled behind his form, but forced herself to see with her own eyes what he had.

A young boy with wild black hair and icy blue eyes, leaned over a little girl with dark hair and deep blue eyes. She was cradled in the crook of his arm and even from where she stood behind Bonnie, she could see blood spilling out from the girl's middle. Even from their distance she could smell the coppery stench of blood. She had the urge to move towards them, to save them, but she couldn't. She was literally pinned in place, some unseen force holding her back. So she watched with horror.

"Don't move...." the boy gasped, holding a folded piece of clothing against a gushing wound in the girl's lower belly.

They flickered before her and Bonnie, spirits against a sepia background, like...an old movie reel, almost. They were both real and not at the same time. At some points she could see through them as they faded in and out of existence.

She pulled a hand up to her face and covered her mouth, tears threatening to spill. She watched in awed silence, frozen in place.

The little girl looked dazed, but nodded at the boy. Suddenly though, she appeared to get very, very tired and her eyes drooped closed.

"No..." Luna whispered, her heart breaking for the ghosts in the vision. Had this really happened here? She called out to them, just to be sure they weren't really there. Though they looked solid flesh and blood, they flickered in and out of focus and didn't seem to see or hear them.

She squinted, trying to absorb every detail.

"N..no sweetie, look at me!" The boy pleaded, trying to make the girl open her eyes.

"Don't close your eyes ok? Just stay awake for me ok?"

The little girl looked confused but her eyes fluttered open and she nodded weakly.

A figure crept into view, watching them from the shadows and Luna gasped. Bonnie tensed too, but  they were still glued in place, helpless to do anything but watch. They aren't real... she had to tell herself as she watched in terrified awe.

"It doesn't hurt anymore..." the girl slurred to the older boy. He shook his head and Luna could see him begin to shake.

He swore loudly and the little girl frowned gently, eyes trying to focus on his face.

She suddenly swayed, leaning into the boy's chest further, more color draining from her face.

"H...hey!" He gasped, looking shocked.
